yup nobody will ever top him, so special how Costner gave a riveting speech in Vin's honor when he retired in 2016. Vin not defined himself as a broadcaster but also as a gentleman.
That was great script writing. They both shake hands in the tunnel before the game when it is his last game vs. his first game and don't even know the two of them are going to be going to be in heated competition on the last at bat of the game.
This movie is so frickin memorable
One VERY underrated movie. As a baseball player myself, there comes a time when you know. But WHAT A MOVIE. One of Costner's best.
Very underrated
1:45 "Excuse me... could you turn that off, please?"

Perfect NYC taxi driver.
That’s the landlord from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia!
Does anybody recognize Ken Strout?
That's Carmine Giovinazzo. He played Danny Messer on CSI: NY
Who better to call this game than Vin Scully!

The taxi driver is Charlie Kelly's landlord
"She's mashing it"
The only thing people hate more than the Yankees are Yankee fans
