Feedback:
It's a racing game and it's called "RACING" for a reason, so you should drive seriously.
After your race is over, you should also show your community the results --> the screen with all the scores (+/-)
You can also take a look at Dave Cam's example
Congratulations on surviving your first "race"
@@eVes1337 appreciate the feedback I'm still learning I'll have to find that result page 😂
@@eVes1337mate got to 37 seconds into the video and he literally explains what his goal is. Quickest way to reach the required license for supercars is to just complete these races with zero incidents. As soon as you start racing it increases the risk of incidents which slows the progress of your rating. Next time you leave “feedback” leave the sarcasm out of it.
@@raab537 It doesn't matter, you can also climb through the licenses if you race normally.
If he's racing like that at higher licenses the only thing he's achieving is pissing people off.
And just between you and me, in every split you have the good people at the front and the "bad/arcade racers at the back.
If he learns it right, then he'll be at the front in every split and that's where you learn how to really race!
And yes, accidents do happen from time to time
@@eVes1337how is he pissing people off? So long as he’s not slow on the racing line and getting out of the way why would I as a front runner get upset? That bloke in the orange/red car is someone who would piss someone off. No situational awareness and doing 40kmh on the racing line causing incidents. If you have no interest in the mx5 and want to race on a higher license then this is the best way to go. Once you’re in a class you enjoy, then race for position and start on the grid. Quite honestly, who cares how he decides to spend his time on the game…. His money, his time, watch the content if you’re a supporter and just have a laugh, enjoy it mate.
As someone that pushed out of rookies just like this to be able to race GT3's in D class, don't do it. Take your time, actually race in the Mazdas, and your SR will go up with time. I'm now sub 1k iRating because I pushed to D class with around 1250 ish and have not had a single clean race. In GT3's you can't race like this avoiding people, the cars are too fast, you have to genuinely race and people spin and rejoin the track poorly and all kinds of stuff that will ruin your races. I recommend getting good iRating now while you can before you end up in low splits where you will never gain iRating. Also another thing I have noticed being sub 1k iRating is that everyone is so much faster than when I was at 1200. People tend to tank their iRating just to have slower lobbies so they can get wins, and all that does is make you lose even more rating. Just sharing my personal experiences cause I did the exact same thing you're trying to do.
So true, I've bought my 1st GT3 car and ya, it's nothing like what I've been racing for years (the Mazda). I'll need to train a lot more before trying a race with GT3 again
line off and start from position on grid, only way to learn. 14years iracing.
Na mate line on and start from pits still came 4th I might start from the pits in every race forever
@WreckageMG good to learn but you won't ever be competitive with it on in different series's and higher splits, I can guarantee that. Learn breaking points and practice the track. Iracings racing line is meant to be training wheels and give u a somewhat decent line but on every single track there is a way better line and will just end up screwing you over with it on against actual competent drivers
@@WreckageMG You came in 5th. that #4 is your car Number
When I started.. iracing was actually Grand Prix legends.. no abs, no TCS, no race line.. jump in the deep end buddy. Race like you belong there or people will push you off track. And always have fun.. Sr grinding is hard work and dull.. just race and you will end up racing people of same skill and pace sooner
Great job. Feck knows how you made it through lap 7 alive 🤣
@@davecamyt I don't know mate 😂
Glad you wore your gloves as they make you faster, but where is your helmet? 😅 Kidding aside no rush to go to a faster car like others have mentioned Race the MX5, Formula Vee, and FF1600 as momentum track cars they will teach you to be smooth ( or you will spln) racing line, braking points and consistent lap times
@@Jack96993 pretty much only have them so I don't destroy my wheel hey lol and the only reason I got iRacing and this Sim racing setup is because I love V8 supercars and always wanted to race them but never had the money so that's why I'm in a rush
@WreckageMG I've been on real tracks as I've had three different Porsche 944TS track cars So I have race gloves you are correct, and a good idea to wear them For your first race, you dodged a lot of bullets, and got a good result! Just be aware, you may not be so fortunate in upcoming races, especially in Rookies I've had everything happen to me 😅 And keep I'm mind your safety rating and iRacing rating can go out the window really fast!!
@@Jack96993 yeah I know I was legit scared hey haha it's fun but I love it
crazy setup for a 'rookie'
I got all the gear no idea
Great video
@@HakenMods thanks mate
You drove.. wisely 👌
That was the plan I just want to get my other licence's as quick as possible haha
@@WreckageMG with your style, it’ll be faster than you expect, probably. Good luck and drive safe! 👍
@@clipsolo Thanks mate will do
Blue name means a lap down, and he disappeared because he was probably DQ'd
@@RoadRashHD Thanks for the tip mate I need more of this I have no idea what's going on haha
4:04 I'm sorry but thats exactly the wrong attitute. The Rookie series is there to learn how to race. This is not World of Tanks where you wan't to rush up the Tiers. Take your time, drive a full season of Mazdas and learn :)
@@Sentinel2k6 who Plays world of tanks 😂
@@WreckageMG Idk, I did 10 Years ago, but i think the example was decent enough
This type of strategy is just going to hurt you in your quest to get up to wherever you are going. You won't learn how to start, or how to race near others, or true incident avoidance, or... I can go on for miles. Just race and learn how to control the car, when you're ready you'll get there. Too many times there are people ruining other's races because they never learned how to race and have gone from a Mazda to a Ferrari.
Also, you're too far from the wheel. There are videos explaining how to create the correct seating position.
Incorrect.
@@raab537 explain. Dropping "incorrect" and nothing else means nothing. My guess is either your also doing this "safe at all cost ans not really racing" thing or you've never even tried iracing.
youve got a typical rookie iracing mentality that then ruins it for drivers in the next category license races
Typical rookie comment right here😢
@@raab537 Yeah cuz people love all the guys who've never actually done a race start going into T1 in higher license races ramming em like it's forza "Because i wanted to get out of rookies to race real drivers".
