The cowboys stay on this seniority bs. To their own detriment...this guy is already ahead of both jalens as a rookie. Same reason we keep seeing Clark, Wilson, and even Hooker to some degree. The DT's are a whole other issue that i dont feel like wasting my time on.

I agree I for one I’m not done with deuce. I think the kid can still be a big contributor, but you have to use them in a better way and you have to give him more carries so he can get into a groove. 2:39
I was surprised they didn't start Flournoy. Play him. If he doesn't produce, put him on the practice squad. If he plays well, maybe the Cowboys found gold. They gotta do something.
Agree with you 100% Foots. Flournoy brings that physicality we haven’t had since Dez. He’s not getting any light due to politics. Hopefully this changes very soon.

I think he is on his way to being a legit number 2 possession receiver. Maybe a number 1 but its too early to tell, you can't definitely say he won't evolve into a number because guys who were undrafted with similar or less speed or from small schools have done it. As WR's go he is big, fast, strong, and catches the ball well. He did 19 reps on the bench press for a 6-1/6-2 200 lbs receiver that is ridiculously strong which means he most definitely could have handled that block Brooks missed. If the Cowboys would use the slant he is tailor made for it. As far as this year goes I have always thought when it comes to making the roster that Brooks was a reach... a lot disagree with that but that was my opinion. He has proven me wrong but I think Flournoy is hands down better. Flournoy gives a lot more in just speed alone he ran a 4.44 at the combine and Brooks ran a 4.69 at the combine. Flournoy was better in every test both took at the combine. The only thing Brooks has is that he played in the SEC which means next to nothing for either of them now. I loved this pick when they made it and I am convinced he will be a good NFL WR when he gets a legitimate sustained chance to play.
Deuce can produce, see what I did there lol… Our scheme and playcalling doesn’t suit Deuce right now, But if we get Flournoy involved that can open things up.
Yes absolutely flournoy needs to be wr 4, don’t know if your right about Tolbert, he actually was really good last year in the preseason just as good as flournoys this year and has been solid since, didn’t get much opportunities with Gallup there but he at least should get a chance this season.. Don’t want to see brooks in the games anymore, flournoy can make an impact, and if he earns the wr 3 over Tolbert then great! But without a doubt wr4 at the moment
To me? It's a matter of coaching. It's the responsibility of the coaching to develop the players. At some point, someone has to coach the players. All players at the pro level have capabilities. It is the responsibility of the coaches to harness those capabilities into something useful for meeting the goals of the team. From the Karteah kid movie, staring Jackie Chan, there are no good students, just bad teachers.
I disagree on Tolbert. He's a faster Gallup. Empty yards are not, that was a helluva jump catch on an under thrown ball by Dak. If Dak leads him that's a TD. I'd bring Flournoy up to replace Brooks. I agree with that. If you don't have speed, you have to do something special to make it in the NFL. Tolbert can definitely high catch the ball.
Coaches may be worried about flourney inexperience, but one can not gain experience unless they're allowed to play. They have to have faith in some capacity. Give flourney some small packages and work his up. We just dont have the ideal scheme oriented coaches imo...
I think they need to run cooks exclusively in the slot and play Tolbert and Flournoy on the outside. Brooks should just be special teams only like Goodwin.
The more social media and the you tubers cry out for something, the more the Jones's won't do it. They care more about being stubborn than they do about having a winning team!

Flournoy needs to get snaps. With an uncucked staff, this wouldn't be an issue. Outside of 4, 88 n' 87 the Cowboys don't scare anyone. Being a one dimensional offense, 4 can't carry the team against a good D.
They don't have the patience to give chances. We still asking for Hunter to get involved other than blocking, their answer ok here is one reception a game. If Flournoy is better than Brooks and they wanna win then why is him being on the field a question. Cooks does his job you just gotta get him involved. Certain situations should dictate who gets the ball, not salary or comfort.

I have been screaming to the high heavens to make changes to certain position groups to shake things up. Give dalvin cook a shot, bring up flournoy and bench number 18! Give the team a chance by breaking up the norm.
Foots is overreacting. Knee jerk reactions after two games aren't the answer. Now is not the time for musical chairs at receiver. Keep giving Duece about 5 touches a game. It will pay dividends. Just my humble opinion. 🤷🏽♂️
Right now Dallas doesn't have a two or a three in their receiving room. Until those slots are solidified we holding tryouts and giving everybody a shot so yes Ryan should get game reps asap
Duece is not too little. None of the running backs did anything including Zeke. They have a young offensive line and 2 new starting rookies. Zack Martin is ok but not what he used to be and Terrence Steele is not playing the best either. Deuce Vaughn is very talented and capable to play behind a good offensive line. It’s levels to this but you have to see the bigger picture and go to the root of the problem.
Dallas missing a WR with some Wiggle also. The kid from the Iggles last night has some wiggle in his game. Slip screens reverses etc. That’s a type of receiver we are missing. Flournoy should be given a chance. He looks like a carbon copy of AJ Brown
If you wait all off-season to sign your whole Offense and don't participate in free agency. You get Sunday especially after you seen what happened when GB came to town. We gonna get old out of shape players on Defense and no 2ND options at WR. Give Ryan a challenge but keep the trade deadline at the back of your head.
After 83 slipped bruh…. That was one of the most innocuous, but heavily disappointing moments in my Cowboys fan history.. I know it’s harsh but….less 83.

Brooks has done nothing in the game to be in there over flournoy. Flournoy is big enough to at least get a block, and he looked like a DAWG in the preseason games. I think he and Tolbert are WR3a-b right now. I didn't see Flournoy do anything soft on the field. We need more guys that can be intimidating out there.
I definitely say Ryan better then Brooks now Tolbert slow coming but he just needs more looks from Dak thing I don't like about Dak he looks right anything left is cancelled & when a play going to Lamb he stares him down when he's capable & have in the past look him off then throws to him. One more thing I'm realizing Dak deep ball isn't accurate enough alot of missed deep balls because he isn't accurate on them.

Ngl though when we had him and Turp in the backfield, he had a chance to hit it outside but cut in to a pile of mess when it was nothing but grass
