I’d love to see the water barrier details while it was being built with all those flat lines on the roof. That is an awesome home!! Another idea for the riglet would be to mount a string light on the under side around the baseboard only as a night light kinda. What do you think?

I tried to do something like this with plain old aluminum angle and it has potential but I ended up ripping it out of that room and going conventional trim because the joints where the pieces butted together showed badly and the screws heads, even though countersunk looked odd. Obviously your showing what someone's developed that is much better. Question though, I used blocking to back up the trim board and angle iron to attach to, I assume you did the same?
Very cool effect. I was almost expecting you to say you were going to run an led strip in there... Which would look cool but not be nearly as elegant. Very nice.

They have a special reglet for that believe it or not, recesses the led tape just enough to not see the actual diodes

People do, mostly in restaurants or on mop boards going up stairs but it really does cheapen the simple elegance
