Good morning everyone, I just went shopping at Old Navy,I bought the dress in the same pattern as the jumpsuit you try on, 2 dresses and 3 pairs of linen blend pants, so I'm going to close my eyes and just listen to you or else I might buy again 😂 tfs Taren ❤

The linen vest would look good unbuttoned with a short sleeved white T-shirt and jeans. And a straw hat, sandals and big sunglasses!

I find some of the gauzy sets will shrink up like a tissue in the wash (even without dryer time)
so I avoid them or def. size up. They sometimes require ironing also.

I have the pink set and the black set in orange. I definitely would wear them outside of the house. Old Navy just had a 50% off everything last weekend so I stocked off.
Great to see a shop that sells larger sizes because in England our shops are crap at doing larger sizes ,some only go up to a size 14 which is ridiculous knowing that the majority of women are larger ! There's a market they are missing out on even though we've been complaining about it for decades !🤷

I saw plus sizes at my Old Navy in the clearance section and in the online returns section yesterday.
Because of your try-ons I learned that XXL was usually bigger than 2X. I would have never tried it otherwise. With regard to the shorts, I feel like with Old Navy the same size can vary within colors, which sounds strange. I ordered 3 tops from Old Navy recently. All were the same style but in different colors. Each fit slightly different.
I hate when that happens!
I'm the same size as you, and I do have to alternate sizes from XL-XXL depending on the fabrics, cut, or shape design from Old Navy but I always find something there that I do fall in love with, every time I go in
You really found some cute outfits! I think the black set was my favorite but I also really liked that pink set and I do think you could wear that out of the house for sure.

They are having an amazing sale today. Many items are 50% off. I bought a dress that I may wear Easter and it was $14.99. i tried on a different dress in both the xxl and 2x, but the XXL was slightly smaller. I didn't buy any sets. I have several pairs of shorts and i am more shorts and tshirts. However, the sets are super cute and no the pink didn't look like pajamas. Have a great weekend 🤗
I love the jumpsuit! I like the black shorts. I prefer a little longer so I’m going to try those today. I think it’s the top that makes those sets look a little pajama-y. The short sleeved button up style. I like the shorts with a graphic t or tank.

I went to Old Navy yesterday to try all of these! The denim dress was PERFECTION on top but so short it was showing all my goodies 😮 I bought the pink shorts but in black and wearing them today! So comfy! Also scored some linen pants for $12!

When an Old Navy item is on sale online but not in the store-they will price adjust for you at the store. Pink set was adorable and definitely for out of the house.

I just got the pink set and had the exact SAME thoughts! Idk if I could wear it out because people might think it’s pajamas. Then I tucked the top in a little bit like you did and it looked better lol. I’m glad you asked if it could be worn out and people are saying yes, because I’m def keeping it and will wear it out now! I have the yellow set like the black one you tried on. I’m a solid 18 and got the xxl top and xl shorts. The pink shorts you tried on, I have in blue and wear them out all the time with the matching color tee and it looks like a romper when you tuck it in. Did you try on a larger size of the denim dress? I really liked it!

I've been eyeing the black long pants that go with the black set. I'm not always in the mood for shorts and thought they'd be cool to wear. I'm a sucker for sets too. I usually get a coordinating color to mix/match. Instant capsule wardrobe.

I just got a linen set from Lane Bryant and LOVE IT! The material is nice quality and feels luxe. My fav bras are from Cacique too. Sometimes Lane Bryant can be hit or miss but lately I've been liking it.
I think you should get the pink set. I would definitely tuck that in on the side and wedges, cute. Didn't look like pj's to me. The pink was pretty on you. Also, the denim dress was so cute. The black set was cute, size down 1 like you thought in the shorts.

Black can be so hot when it’s hot out. I love black, but I’ve experienced wearing black on a hot sunny day! Never again. 😂

it's thinner than you'd think! Not sweatshirt or sweater material, but not tshirt quality. Somewhere in the middle. Could be fine for days below 70

Those gauzy sets were just on sale for $15 a piece, I think. I picked up a few sets for less than $50.. You looked great in that he pink set and I think you could definitely wear that out!!
I have the black gauze shorts in a large and the length looks about the same although I’m only 5’4 (on a good day 😂) so they may be slightly shorter
The vest would have been great with the shorts!
I'm just going to say it. The floral pants romper was really cute. The sets all look like PJs.
Here's my rant: I can't believe how cheap all stores have become - selling us PJs made of cheap PJ material and calling them "loungewear" or "sets" so we'll pay more for PJs. Some women are wearing them out in public? Let's all decide to quit paying for really cheaply made clothes made out of really cheap fabrics (see through, clingy knits, or 100% polyester, ripped up jeans that we could rip ourselves, etc.). Even Old Navy used to make some real clothes from real materials (wool blends, nice cotton blends, crepe, quality fabrics). Let's demand more quality since we are paying so much more for clothes these days.
You can always shop at GAP or Banana Republic if you don't mind spending more but I think you'll find the same loungy style because that's the trend.
my comment is not about old navy. It's about all stores. It's really sad that more expensive stores also are making clothes of cheap materials, too.
@@makeupgirl8886 plus sizes have always been plagued by the demand for stretchy fabrics. Those are cheaper fabrics. It's the 1st thing I noticed when I entered the plus sized world. But it's due to consumer demand.

I'm a size 20, finding my size in bottoms at old Navy is hard because my size always sells out, so I have order online but I'm able to find tops in store.
I will buy ON items thinking they are so great and cute and they never turn out to be great quality or as great as I originally thought. I can like it when I buy it and then wear it a couple times and wonder why did I get this? The sizing is just off. And the shirts are always too short even if they aren’t described as cropped. It’s very odd because at first glance the items are always so cute!! I bought the black shirt and it’s way too wide and too short. I was disappointed. 😔

Pass on the vest. It pulls on the chest throws off the look. Unless you get the larger size and take it to a tailor to take it in.
