Yeah indeed, I love the look and feel of the MP5. It just fits perfectly for a CQC weapon of a counter terrorist force. I do think however that special forces similar to these (even tho obviously the game is incredibly unrealistic, I mean, an LMG and sniper for these enviroments? Not really.) have stopped using the MP5 in favour of the MP7 in CQC. But obviously special forces like these can probably use any weapon they desire depending on context, sometimes a regular M4A1 will work just fine.
just finished replaying it for like the fourth time in 10 years, first times on xbox and now on pc, this game was too ahead of it's times imo; thermal visor and smokes; wallbangs; repelling down buildings; breach and clear; microcam under doors to spot enemies, commanding a squad; very cool and inspired locations for the maps; idk how much it made at the time but it deserved enough to make a sequel and be recognized with the other "big ones" fps
Yeah, well patriots was in development but some random terrorists ruined it, or the engine swap, anyway patriots would have been the best R6 ever, its too bad it was cancelled

It sucks man, they shut down the servers. My brother and I can’t even play online anymore. And we can’t do split screen because he lives far away. Such a good game.

The game was a complete disappointment. I don't have the analytical mindset to determine what the problem was, but while it was outwardly the same as the first part and in some ways seemed to be even better, it was absolutely boring and uninteresting.
Because it's more of a simulation type of a game, you don't just rush in like a moron in the new rainbows, this was was tactic, this one was full immersion
