I have been playing Potion (Battle Item) for quite a while after I watched some of the Japanese players like Kabichans play Potion on Dodrio. I played a few games and understood why it works amazingly!
I played Tri Attack & Jump Kick which is the best for Potion ( Drill Peck & Agility ) aren't that good with Potion!

It is good soloQ carry but has alot of bad matchups like Slowbro

It's great as a solo q carry. Like Ghatlue said it is prone to bad matchups but the thing with Dodrio is it's a macro monster. Just avoid your counters with your superior mobility and let your team deal with it. Steal the enemy's farm, score some goals, and with Dodrio's movespeed, still make it in time to clean up the teamfights. Of course you still need to play smart, don't abandon your team to go for backcaps at bad times, especially if your unite is available.

I can explain it in a new video but its pretty simply. When you use jumpad and go straight forward you can use jumpkick and it always works.
