I'm trying to rebuild a radioshack rc car, controlling the rear motor with a H-bridge made of relays and supplied with a Lipo 11.1V (25C - 2200mAh) I did a try yesterday but the speed and torque is huge, I do not know if i can burn the motor or the relays... would the L298 help? I'm just starting with lipo batteries and I would not want to cause a damage. Thanks in advance.

Check your 775 motor voltage rating, keep the voltage below 24 volts.
