- Check out one of the favourite parts of my collection, all things Matchbox Police, from cars to helicopters. There's everything from Mercedes Polizei to the Mercury Gran Fury and Chevy Highway Patrol, plus much much more. We'll also take a look at the Hot Wheels and Tomica Police cars I have started collecting.

Thank you...I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Police cars seem to spark a lot of enthusiasm, in real life and in miniature. Whenever I see one on the road, I know they’re there for a serious reason, but they just bring out the ten year old in me, lol. Please thank your son on my behalf. He may not be serving my particular community but men and women like him keep the rest of us safe.

I had one as a kid in about 1990 that when you pushed down on the car the lights would turn on. Wish I knew what model it was

That's a Mercury Monterey. Matchbox also had the Station Wagon version. That newer Ford Interceptor is just a Police version of the Ford Taurus SHO. Great video, so many police cars. I only have a single Tomica, a taxi from Toyota, not a common brand here in the U.S. but becoming more popular. Very interesting video. Thanks for sharing.
Sorry for not responding sooner, this comment only appears on my iPad, strangely. I was hoping the police in Australia would start using the Taurus when Ford stopped production of the locally made Falcon but they’ve gone to driving Toyota and Hyundai. Dull.
@@buildingtheultimatematchbo257 No worries, I'm backlogged on responses to comments also. With prepping for the upcoming holiday and a heavy winter storm here. I wouldn't be surprised to see the new Ford Explorer Interceptor be available there. It's probably the cost of conversion to right hand drive?

this is a great collection of police cars, but also since you are doing some tomica and hotwheels I think you should try greenlight as well because they make great police cars and have a whole series dedicated to it
Thanks for the nudge towards Green Light...I've been resisting this brand for a while but took the time today to look for their police collection. I bought the Terminator 2 1987 Chevy Caprice. I may have been bitten by the bug because I got '65 Lincoln too, haha.

-'94 RCMP classic Chevrolet caprice
-'77 Sheriff van Chevrolet
-'77 Sheriff patrol car unknown model
-'07 State patrol Subaru Impreza (idk if I spelt that right)
and a 2014 BMW fire police car
Edit: Also a 2012 police lambo
You have enough for a well coordinated high speed chase there, 05-1. The Caprice would be my pick of the bunch.

I looked up this video in regards to the 2015 corvette police car done in trooper deco ( ua-cam.com/video/d82uJkqb1Gk/v-deo.html) base code stamp n 18). I noted that the car has white strips on the side while the art work lacks this feature. Could the card reflect the original release but it was updated at the last minute. Nice casting that i found today.
Well spotted, Steve. Both my loose ones have the stripes. ( n13 and n24) The card art may have just deviated without reflecting a tampo change but I’ll keep my eyes peeled 👍 Thanks 🙂🕵️♂️
