Slow charging at night allows me to use the ambient display as an expensive clock, but I like the feature. This seems like a great affordable option. Cheers
Works fine for my Pixel 3 XL. With, an OtterBox defender case on it. Works best on it's side. Sometimes upright, it dis connect's and stops charging and light flashes. Not sure what that's about. I know,,,read the directions. But, charge's pretty quickly and shuts off when full. Thanks
Peter: Glad it's working for you. Sometimes devices charge better with different orientations. It all just depends on where the charge coils are. Thanks for watching!
So 9 months later, just purchased this little piece of tech for $12.00 and am surprised how well it works with a case(otterbox commuter) on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I don’t care much for “fast charging”. And these batteries in current phones last plenty long enough for me not to have to charge until night time.
Who: Yep. Still having it sitting on my desk at home. Still works great, although charge speeds are super fast. Better than just setting on the desk though.
OnePlus 8 Pro and Google Pixel 7 Pro both capped out at 10w charge speed for me and stayed consistent closer to 7.5w; removing the cases from both phones did not impact the charge speed. I was using INIU's 25w wall charger to power the wireless charger as well. Disappointing.
Third party wireless chargers typically just don't have good speeds. To get anything faster you almost need to get something directly from your phone's manufacturer and even then speeds can be slow. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Jerin: I guess, but you would need to prop them up on something so the charging coils would connect. Honestly if bud charging is your jam you probably want a charging pad instead of a stand.
mine doesn't work with my samsung. light keeps flashing then turns ff. could it be that i have one of those stick on kickstands on the back of my phone
Devin: It's no longer on my nightstand but it IS still sitting at my editing workstation, so I am still using it. I don't think wireless charging will ever completely take the place of charging with a cord for me, but it does have some use cases. Thanks for the question and for watching!
I love this charger. Only complaint is the light sensor doesn't work. I've connected the company and they sent me a replacement. Same issue. I see the light wan't out at 1:13, but when you put your finger over the sensor, it worked like it should. Anyone else have a defective light sensor?
It is not, however, that was almost three years ago and I did use it for a bit. Currently I'm using an Anker magnetic wireless charger which keeps my phone off of the surface of my nightstand which frees up space. Thanks for checking in!

Rhett: A VERY expensive clock. As always, thanks for watching!

Didn't have a chance to test it with an OtterBox so that's good to know. Thanks!
Is that a G1??? I used to love that phone!
It is indeed! AFL!
I'm starting to lean towards wireless a little more not completely sold yet but nice looking charger
V: We are in the same place in our wireless charging adoption. Time will see if I get completely won over. Thanks for watching man.
I'm looking to buy one, because the c-port on my s20 fe is damaged. Does it wor well with Samsung's? I don't have a case on the phone.
It should work fine with the Samsung although charging speeds will probably be pretty slow. I think it would be fine for overnight charging.
@@RandoTechInfo ok thanks 🙏
Great and useful review
Thank you!
now november do you still enjoy it cause i ordered on for my s20 fe and its supposed to arrive today

How much does the code take off I ordered mine a day ago and now I see this
If it's still active it will give you 25% off. Probably not worth returning it. I hope you like it and thanks for watching!
@@RandoTechInfo oh well thanks for the info

So? Is it still there? I'm looking at it for my Samsung s20 fe 5g
Daryl: I think it's still out there.
I think he was asking if it was still on the night stand lol
@@zachwaber4178 oh
Can we charge Airpods with this charger ?

@@RandoTechInfo ok thanks Rando
This isn't working for my a6+. It just says that there is something between the charger stand and the phone ( not my phone case)
Ahmad: That's unfortunate. What "says" that is the issue?
@@RandoTechInfo Nvm I just noticed that my phone isn't compatible with it. Works just fine with my Iphone!

@@RandoTechInfo have same issue. remove cover and still flushing
@@davidsolodkin5508 Sorry to hear that. Have you tried using it with another phone?
Is it still there?
it has been moved from my nightstand to the desk in my office, but it is still in use.
very informative , thank you!!

Is this charger compatible with the samesung galaxy a71?
Not if it doesn't have wireless charging, and I don't think the a71 does.
Does the 15w type charge Huawei, iPhone and Samsung?
I don't think so. It seems that LG is the only brand that gets it.
I have s21 ultra how's it for my phone ?
That's the same phone I have. Works just fine.
@@RandoTechInfo does it charge at 15W or 10W
@@dhruvsyalds 10W. I think it only does 15W charging with LG devices.
