  • This video goes over how to create, modify, and animate the Text object in Cinema 4d R25. The Text object is the quickest way of creating 3d text and also has the ability to use MoGraph Effectors to create amazing animations.

      He doesn’t have 1 million viewers because 1 million people don’t use cinema 4D. It’s a niche field. And because he does a pretty good job of explaining but this is a very complicated program and it takes years to learn well. And as good as he is, grayscale gorilla is much better.

    Hello Is there a way of moving the pivot point of the letters? I'm rotating them around it's centre but the centre is at the front cap of the letter and not in the middle, as I would want it to be ..
    Thanks!

    • @BTB3D
      @BTB3D  Рік тому

      As far as I know you can only adjust the axis on the x and y (not z). In the letters, words, etc. tabs there is an axis option. If I wanted to do on the z axis as well I would probably make the letters editable, put each in a null (where the null is positioned where you want the axis to be) and then put all of those into a Cloner.

    Where did they put the "Create single Object" within the caps, in the new C4d R25 Version? A lot of older tutorials are based on that...

    • @BTB3D
      @BTB3D  Рік тому

      Create single object is the default behavior. If you make an extrude editable you should end up with a single polygon object now.

    Is there no more option to have just a fillet without the cap? I used that all the time

    • @BTB3D
      @BTB3D  Рік тому

      Do you mean just rounding the cap? If so then yes.

    It really drives me crazy when these software rename and relocate the tools in which we were very used to in our workflow. Every Single Release! So frustrating. Anyway thank God for you and this tutorials. Kudos!

      I agree. Its easier when it makes sense...Which isn't the case with the text.

    great tutorial as always, but you could use some sort of high pass filter or better isolation of your keyboard, maybe some neoprene under it? your keyboarding makes big bassy whomps...cheers

    can't find depth slider in cinema 4d r25 lite. can you help

    • @BTB3D
      @BTB3D  2 роки тому

      If you aren't seeing the depth slider in the Object tab of the attribute manager make sure you created a Text Object not a Text Spline.
