I’ll say it again, one tiny badass woman doing the work of two full grown men on guitar! And yeah Tom, as far as Pau goes…she dares you not to focus on her!
These girls are going straight to the top. Been a rock fan for 40 years and haven't seen anything like this since the seventies. They're all amazing at what they do but I don't think anybody in the world hits the drums and gets the most out of each smash then Pau. My eyes just gravitate it to her on each performance. Going to be a fun ride for all these girls to the top!
Love the stank face. I. So. Love. This. Band!! I upgraded Pau from my favorite girl drummer to my favorite young Genius many months ago. There is no limit to what these young ladies can do. If you haven't gotten to Evolve yet, get some!
2 hours of originals, this was their encore. That's why Ale looked worn out. When playing live Ale does not stop moving except when she is singing. Band makeup: 3 singer/songwriters that also play piano as well plus doing it in their second language.
Awesome reaction brother! I'm an 80's and early 90's rocker and haven't heard anything compared to the The Warning since. I really believe by the end of this year there going to be all over the map! An your right there more than a cover band there originals are unbelievable.
This video was from back in January, 2019. Dany (Guitar) was 18, Paulina (drums) was 16, and Ale (bass) had just turned 14. They didn't waste their time during the pandemic. They signed with Lava Records, flew off to New Jersey for three months, and recorded their third album with famed producer David Bendeth.
I was one of the just over 100 TW fans invited to this private show in 2019 and I flew 4800 miles round-trip to be there, worth every cent. It's the best show I've attended in 50+ years of concerts! I flew back one year later for the 2 shows in 2020,again worth every cent! I was one of 10 people that got to go to the soundcheck before the show and then one of 20 that got to have dinner with them at the Rainbow after the show. I asked Dany how they were able to pull off that incredible 7 minute Atlas Rise encore after playing for 2+ hours of nonstop originals and she said, "Adrenaline! When we got back up to the dressing room, all 3 of us just collapsed on the couch!" and she said it with a huge smile on her face, that ever-present Dany smile! 🥰 The girls saw my 7yo grandson on my Facebook page wearing his Warning gear and Rocking out to their music, so they had their Dad contact me to invite him to LA for the 2020 shows so they could meet him,he was ecstatic. The girls met with him, they are incredible young ladies and they treated us like family. We're going back this January for the 2 shows at the Troubadour, only this time 2 of my granddaughters will be joining my grandson for the unbelievable event that is seeing The Warning live! Thanks for The Warning reactions, keep them coming! 🤘⚡🎶⚡🎶⚡🤘
For some reason this reaction popped back up in my UA-cam feed. I re-watched and then checked your channel page. It looks like you slowed down, but haven't stopped doing reactions. It looks to me like you last reacted to The Warning a year ago, doing "Disciple". They have spent the last year touring North America, U.S., Canada and portions of SOuth America. They have headlined their own Mayday tour, They have toured with and opened for Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, Three Days Grace. They have also done one off openings for The Foo Fighters and Guns and Roses, while hitting every music festival in U.S. and Canada. They dropped the rest of their album in June 2022, not a bad song on it. All this to say that there are so many opportunities for you to react to new music and fresh live performances for The Warning, you should not miss out on them. TWA will flock back to you and get your metrics flying back up the charts. Just a friendly suggestion. Have always enjoyed your analysis when you react.
And now Pau is nominated for best Rock drummer of 2023 by Drumeo awards 2023 the contest ends 12/25/23 at 11:59 pm so if you believe that Pau is deserving of the honor go and vote! and please tell everybody to vote. Thank you!
You talk about how active and vocal Pau is behind her kit, well that Ale stalking the stage and Dany so vocal and animated on stage goes back to their 5 weeks at Berklee School of Music in Boston, where the girls have said one of the best lessons they learned was stage presence and lucky for us they have taken that to heart and it shows in EVERY show and performance no matter where they are! I missed the first few times i watched this performance but at some points you can clearly see how tired Ale is BUT it doesnt faze her and she keeps killing it for the fans. Its awesome how Dany and Pau trade off on singing lead on this song and Dany kills all her solos and Pau dominates the drum lines in this song! thanks this was good. 2 Other songs you see how animated Pau can be behind her kit I would suggest Survive at TedX and Narcisista. she shares lead with Dany in Survive and sings lead on the other.
Great reaction Tom; Glad to see you back with The Warning. New single from their album comes out this Friday….called Evolve and it’s a banger ( I have a prerelease copy). 🤘😎🤘
Once again we meet, they are just that a fantastic band. They have so much power, energy and talent, I haven't bee this excited about any group in a very long time, these girls rock. WE have some great stuff coming from them in the near future, get ready, the Warning Rise. Did you just say cover band, someone hold my coffee... ah just kidding, it doesn't matter what song they do it will always sound great and be better than the original, IMO. If you want to see a cover band check our Leo Moracchioli of Frog Leap Studios, this man can take any cover and turn it into a hard rock/metal song, an amazing musician beyond any doubt.
the Mexican girl group called THE WARNING, for my taste is a rare mix of legendary rock groups like Suzi Quatro, Joan Jett and the black hearts and Heart. greetings from Mexico.
Great reaction, thanks! Awesome cover, these rhythmical changes are not easy, and they arranged the song for just one guitar… don’t miss their new single Evolve, coming out this Friday! It’s a banger! 👍⚡️🤘
Full-on energy start to finish!! Paulina, being behind the kit, cannot just get up and move around, and so she uses her face to great advantage. Her vocalizations here are spot on! Awesome, powerful performance by all three!! Thank you for reacting to The Warning!
The few times she has fronted (when they played encores with Moderatto and Eruca Sativa) she completely owned the stage. She gesticulates a lot -- watch videos of Dust to Dust, recent videos of the intro to Survive, and Narcisista (where she makes like she's swatting those critics like they're pesky flies).
Lasr Year they were starting their first North American Tour but because of the Covid 19 first they postponed it then they went ahead and Cancelled the Tour and the were going to play in London and that was Postponed but it's stil going to happen in the future, and then in July they were by Lava/Republic Records and in September they traveled to New Jersey to record their third album with Producer David Bendeth. Then for the 30th anniversary of the Black Album Metallica got 53 Artists to play Covers of the songs of that Album and The Warning are one of the those 53 Artists, and they were invited to play at the Rockville Festival in Daytona Beach Florida they are playing the Same day as Metallica and Lynyrd Skynyrd and they are opening for the Foo Fighters on November 10th in Mexico City.
The Warning has started filling their calendar: Nov 10 in MX with Foo Fighter, later in Nov in Daytona Beach with Metallica (and many others) and Jan 2022 at the Troupadour in LA. Also are covering Enter Sandman (again) on Metallica's Black album (September 2021). Just saying 😉
Nice! The Warning has a new version of Enter Sandman that will be on Metallica’s upcoming Blacklist album to be released September 10th. It is the first song on the album. Pau does not use her own drums in concert. She rents them. She tries to bring her cymbals, drum cage and pedals. But bringing drums on a plane is difficult and they are not yet big enough to have a separate transport. They were indie at the time of this concert and their sound engineering was not as good as it could be.
Great performance. It's a pity that you missed a kiss at the end. It exists an older version of Atlas Rise from the Warning cave, where the voices are more clear.
Love anything from The Warning! Nice! (Unfortunately it's true that 1% of sound guys have a clue about mixing vocals properly. Not the band's fault, though.) There was a little bit left at the end that you cut off though! ;) Super reaction, Tom! I always love your terrific reactions! :) Keep up the great work!
Not sure if anyone commented about the sound system in the Whisky A Gogo, but it sucks. Another reactor/musician, David Heretic, has played there several times and says it's really bad. Vocal mix/volume has always been a problem at the Whisky.
Totally agree on the mix being off. I never recommend this performance for 2 reasons- 1) This concert performance was not of the best sound quality. 2) This was the 23rd song of a 23 song concert and the girls were absolutely worn out! Here is a link to their studio performance where you can hear everything crystal clear!! ua-cam.com/video/ujrHJH3yovc/v-deo.html
A good sign when the primary complaint is mic volume! The other common criticism (which I don’t subscribe to) is lack of solos. Not the case in this cover! 🤟🏼🎸🥁🎸🤟🏼
I think Covid actually helped these girls. Instead of going on their 2020 tour as independent artists, they signed to a record label and recorded their third album during lockdown.
Better than Metallica. Take into account there’s no rhythmic guitar. And the bassist creativity to support the guitar, the phenomenal guitar the drums… are way superior than the original… and duet signing! Wow
Dani was shredding to the max!!!!!!!
You can't not recognize Ale on the bass. She hiolds the son together the entire time. She's so good!
They are a band that has 2 lead vocalists because Pau also sings lead on some songs.
And out now is their third album ERROR and its a great album!!
The energy level went to 12!!
holy I've never heard them do this!!!! DAMN
they did that afterwards
a complete gig of 21 songs and almost 2 hours
This cover better than original one.
❤️ no words, just ❤️
The Warning The Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They already released their 2nd single EVOLVE
The louder the better!
They are Kick Ass!
Evolve comes out at midnight tonight... faces will melt and minds will be blown!!! This band is in the cusp of becoming mega stars...
Good video! 👌🏼🇲🇽
New song, Evolved its out... it's bad ass, 360 from Choke
🤘🇲🇽🇲🇽🤘
And to think, this was at the end of their 2 hour set.
That's how it's done! Amazing energy for the last song of a two-hour set.
⚡🤘⚡🤯⚡🤘⚡

David Heretic, who's played The Whiskey, places the blame for the low vocals squarely on The Whiskey's mixing board.

I actually enjoyed the last 2 Metallica albums. I gave up on them after the Black album.
I kept trying and hoping but they lost me for good on Death Magnetic.
Maybe the word you were searching for was “expressive”.
Pretty sure metallica would be cool with this!? LOL's
