In my experience, clients wanted to see your confidence during interview. Not OA confidence, but professional confidence. And also, they would love you to ask them a question because that means you made a research about their projects and the client as well

It's better to apply for a company to get an actual job. No offense, but Upwork is for the people who ran out of options, and it's a race to the bottom. In a company you get paid monthly and on time, and probably 10 times the pennies you make on Upwork. Not to mention the benefits like paid overtime, health insurance, paid vacation, and so on. Also, there's only one interview conducted by a true professional from HR. You don't have to deal with random dirtbags that treat you like crap and pay you as if you're their slave.
I would say he must have had tons of good achievements in his previous job. But no offense I believe he didn't get the job as 1st thing to what I noticed is he has a disability in his speech maybe due to the structure of his jaw which is very important especially when you are engaged in conversation most of the time in your job. The 2nd one is he lacks experience, his funny gesture is also unnecessary and may reduce your reliability points. There is a lot I would like to point out guys but, here is a very important tip: In an interview, you must be the one taking control of the conversation if the client or the interviewer talks a lot than you.. your on your way in losing the game.
