So far these Ed interviews are Legendary! His story telling is A1 and he's making sure everyone get's their flowers. We need a part 2 or a MEO Ed Lover Documentary! It makes sense.
06:50 Math fucking up the story. Just be quiet and let the man tell the tale.
Great comment right here.
That why my man Combat Jack convinced Ed to do a podcast!! Ed is an amazing storyteller!!!
You exactly right my G I can’t wait to read his book just knowing everything he speaking on is 100% FACTS and actually witnessing what he talking bout when it FIRST HAPPENED make the interview even BETTER!!!!! Respect & Salute to Ed Lover for dropping these jewels!!!!!!

Facts
Who’s The Man is a personal CLASSIC!
I came hear to write the same thing
Word. People don't talk about that movie as much. Which is Crazy!!!!
Ed Lover you are a hip hop icon and a living legend this is Epic 💯
This is a guy to follow, Living Legend. Big ups to Ed and his hustle game. You see what being humble brings you 👀
Tell em
This guy came to my high school in 2004, Louis D Brandeis HS and gave the greatest motivational speech ever in our school auditorium.
Them words moved me.
💯. Who doesn't miss that voice waking you up early in the morning for school.
These interviews clips has me nostalgically transformed into my late teens and early twenties. Reminiscing on those earlier times makes me appreciate those moments alot more. I didn't savor hip hop back then because we were living in the moment, looking back we were witnessing history being made and didn't even know.
This man has so many stories. True icon.
Can't believe how great we had it in the 90's. Thank you Ed Lover... Hip Hop wouldn't be Hip Hop without you and Dre.
The 90's were amazing
I need the Entire Ed Lover interview dropped Asap.. I can listen to the legend talk All day. Makes you feel like you was there cuz it’s Authentic…the Fabric of Hip Hop in a Living Vessel ‼️ We losing our legends everyday…This is a 💎‼️
Definitely learned things about Ed Lover I never knew through this interview. Definitely a pioneer and needs more recognition. He plays a valuable role in hip hop. One music video I remember seeing him in is Total-Sitting Home. I would love for him to bring back his c’mon segment.
It's sad to know Ed Lover has been telling this information for the past 30 years.
He came home & Pam cleaned out the crib. "Paaaaaaaaaaammmmm!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Classic music video.
Ed lover is a legend he's one of the few people that whenever I see him I listen to the interviews and would love to see more things he does in the future
Awesome interview with Ed…some of these stories bring back great memories 👍🏾
This is going to be the best episode of the year 😂
Ed Lover is a legend. Excellent interviews
Holy shiii....Ed with the stories of my Era... Brilliant... Preciate you guys 🫡

I thought Cannibus was the best interview but I must say this is the BEST!!!!

Really spectacular interview with Ed Lover!
I love Ed lover Hip Hop needs more souls like him salute Big Queens NYC 💯
The reason the door was open for a yo mtv raps, was because of Michael Jackson and the Billie jean video. Before then mtv wouldn't play back music or even have black people on the station
Heavy D was legendary definitely
Frfr!
Ed Lover got the best Biggie impersonations, hands down.
I remember when Ed was our Security guard.
He was always a good dude.
He use to come with us to all the games and everything.
Good dude and never frontend on us after he got famous.
Could listen to Ed All day
ALL OF YOU CAN HET A LOT OF KNOWLEDGE FROM THIS MAN. I HAVE BEEN A FAN & FOLLOWED THROUGHT THE BIRTH OF HIP-HOP. FACTS ! ! ! 💯 👌
One of the best interviews
I’m 47yrs young right… and as VERSED and immersed as I am in hip hop I’ve never heard of Math especially since the battle rap scene is sort “underground” in a league of its own but I’m greatly thankful to not be to of an “OG” not to expand my horizons on these platforms of today 🫡 to you Math Hoffa for believing in yourself and EXPOUNDING your abilities to achieve what your doing today brother, I remember the first episode of Yo MTV RAPS from Fab to The Mayor Chris Thomas salute to you Ed I still do your dance til this day
Hardwork pays off!
why Ed's Big impersonation sound like Barney??🤣
What a time to be alive i witnessed a lot of legends come and unfortunately go. 🙏🏽🙌🏾
Great video! Legend!
I enjoyed this interview with ED Lover, queit a nice one especially when he is talking about B.I.G
ED LOVER is a living legend 4real...
Man, Ed Lover is like the cool ass, smart, black Forrest Gump of hip hop! He was everywhere and involved with a lot of hip hop historical moments!
Forrest Gump is not a good comparison my guy lol but I feel what you're trying to say.
I love the way math Hoffa and Mecca , Champ do these interviews
Im only.31 but jus tbis clip right here jus make me wish I was born a little earlier In life....blessings

Dope segment!! 🔥. Dope interview!!🔥💯
I remember Kid N Plays cartoon, MC Hammer. I remember Pro Stars with Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky & Bo Jackson. Saturday morning cartoons!!
Math you should get Kid & Play on your show. Legends.
Great interview!! Would like to see a Joe Rogan ”Jamie” that can pull stuff up from youtube while the interview is going on.
I wonder what Lyhor got out of that deal?
The Lyle Cohen story shows you why you need teamwork to make the dream work!
You can only get You so far, even if you work day and night.
Somebody buy a custom desktop PC from me lol!
Yeah, @Ed Lover was with The Function Freaks before No Face...
That One Nation cut was a nice club track...lol
And to think, I remember when He and I almost got kicked out of Jack the Rapper for promoting Puffy's poster with his son on it wearing his boots and chain with his hand up like a gun...
"The next generation of Bad MFs"
And Jazzy Phay was with Hammer dancing as "the hip hop pokadot asiatic dancer"
LMBAO
THAT was right before He started doing Yo MTV and Fab started.
Wow....
Good times.
Interestingly enough, when NBC got the pilot for what became The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air it was written initially for Kid N Play, they turned it down to keep their cartoon, because the network wouldn't allow them to do both, and Dj Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince wound up with that show.
Math you gotta get kid and play up there next !!
Ed is the coolest! Salute
Where did hiphop go wrong use to be so great
He was a security guard at Jackson and that’s where kid n play did the video
QGTM GO HICKORIES, “We can because we know we can”
Would love to hear more about Heavy.D
We was leaving tags on the hats to represent. The man dated LeLe, first to rock Karl Kani... #Legend
Dang Math, let Mecca ask his questions!
For those who don't know Kid N Play got the movie deal because New Line Cinema had a legal dispute with DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, unbeknownst to them, over what was considered the unauthorized use of Nightmare On Elm Street theme music on the song Nightmare On My Street on the He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper album , although the script was written with those two in mind for House Party they had to decline due to conflict of interest over the pressing legal matter even though they did audition for the characters if I am not mistaken Hip Hop History is so deep yet totally awesome at the same time.
I can let the video play and listen to hours of hip hop stories w this dude.
Great interview! Would love to see Fab 5 Freddy
Ed lover and Dre were the culture for us kids growing in the south back in the 80s
Ed lover da 🐐‼️
💡There's always 2 sets of rules. "The rules" and the rules for BLACK PEOPLE.
Lyor gets a bad rap But what he did was solid
12:00 mark “ yo thats wild inappropriate “ 😂💀😂
Ed Lover and Big Gene aka Big Foot RIP (MC Lyte's body guard) were school safety officers when I attended Andrew Jackson high in Queens.
Both were from the neighborhood and we all were family. Big Sue and the crew looked out for us.
When Ed first got the job I was so happy for him because I saw the grind from the beginning.
I used to watch him, Mark Skeeter (Mark Sex) and Sha practice in Mark's basement when they were the Oasis II Band
What's up ya'll? What you got to say? Who's on the phone with Ed, Lisa, and Dre?!😂 Classic!
Respect
Ed Lover is a good story teller.
I remember No Face and BWP. BWP had 2 Minute Brother..that sh*t was 🔥🔥🔥 in Chicago in 91 or whatever
This brother is a hip hop grio!
I like that
Dope!
The fact their previous manager couldn't even secure them a dressing room let alone a decent wage for their efforts tells a lost about RS. Also If Lyor got them 250k each , you know that deal was way more.
FROM OG LEGENDARY ED TELL GOOD REAL-LIFE STORIES FOR SURE AM JUST SAYING YEAAAAAAH
I'm so into you 😂😂
God i love the old school
SEPTEMBER 13 1982! ED LOVER! DR. DRE!

I swear man if heavy d was alive …. That’s the guy to get on here ‼️ all jokes aside I love that guy he was respected by the trenches and the suburbs. From what I heard , just an all around loveable dude …. Lol not a sucker at all
Ed is a real big player in this game!!!
Dudes always be trying to check behind you. He told them he was in the video. They just had to go check behind him disguised as wanting to see him in the video.
And dont forget Mr.T had an action figure, cartoon and a cereal....
I love hip hop.
Ed lover is the Charlie Murphy of Hip Hop
leaving the tag on ur hat was tHE style, u had to b there
Ed is a straight up legend bruh. 🫡
Kid'n'Play was supposed to do fresh Prince of Bel-Air fresh prince and jazz was supposed to do house party
$500 a week was good money in the 80’s tho for a young cat.
A million dollars a year back in the 90s! How did he give back to the community😂 don t say interviewing rapper's😂😂
7:49-7:54 9cness🔥🔥🔥
I wonder how many people know about “Ted Demme” ?
