Flipping and punching is something I haven’t done much of, we don’t have grass on Tim’s Ford and Normandy. When I get to the grass lakes it’s just something that I need to work on lol. Great info bro as always thanks again!

Out yesterday pitching junk with 11/2 Oz and a beaver style. Nothing. Switched to a 5” stick bait with 1/8th lead and just dropped through little openings. Very minimal movement and hooked 3 over 16” in 4 casts. Elated! Goes right to your point. I think fish were right under matte and as that baited started to shimmy down they ate it up. Great point. It wasn’t slowing down but gave neutral fish a good look. Thx as usual.
I grew up fishing Toledo Bend and Rayburn so punching is something I've done for a ĺong time and everything you just said is 100% spot on... Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!

Eeeeyyyrrrrn the song of my people!! I love it. I love the flipping big line big sticks big weights so much because I dont have it here in the midwest. I have zero weeds. Some day I will get to lake where I get to do it but until then I will continue to watch you swing big.
Living in south Louisiana over the last 45 years I can say with 100% confidence Randy is right about that we blow the cain and get into 10-500 arcs of nothing but punching flipping and pitching flats that are loaded with fish but if you aren’t zeroed in on everything you will not catch 1/10 of the fish you should. That’s why most people can’t or don’t fish down here.
I gotta try those flapping styles baits, it could get me some more bites when the beaver,or cricket are not producing the juice.thx MikeyBalzz for sharing the information, I was using the other style baits,and not evaluating the warm up trend. I been doing this since December, so it may be time to use my rage lobsters, and my v&m cliff pace wild things.

I have all those creature baits you are showing on this video but I am using straight braid to the hook with success. One guide told me these bass down here don't look at the line. They are watching the bait fall and rise. What is your thinking? Guntersville must have some clear water. I don't know. Carolyn made me watch this video twice to learn something.
Man that was a mouthful! Wore me out, what I believe is B.A.S.S. in low visibility water use there lateral lines capability to locate bait, and they do it very well! I’m a finesse fisherman and if they’re hitting it and not getting hooked up I increase the size of my baits, start 3” than go to 5”. Usually get hooked up on next cast in same place, no matter how dirty the water. I like you idea of bigger pinchers!👍 is that what your trying to say? Okie Dokie! You are the doctor of punching! LOL. Keep increasing size of baits, but stop at 15” LMAO. Keep the faith doctor! 👍🥸🙏

Bro, im.130lbs, I need too girth up too,😂I love the pitching and punching! I do scissor flip too for crappie, penny wort mats, but yeah! Love seeing you do this down here. You're my resource for this technique, and I've been learning from mikeyballz vid vault! And it's got to be my favorite way to get bit, besides the jig! But yeah.... epic good times, love that donk of the weight, or the locked up feeling on the reel when they chew the dangle dick! 💥🎣✨️👊.And the braid squeal is the deal when she's a good one✌️.

Randy Blaukat is big on a fast rate of fall for clear water and slow rate of fall for low viz.

I've not used Braided line n a long long time. What reels today seem to work better with this line?
