Dried apricot with a walnut half inside, just raw and shelled, is one of my fave snacks. So good! Learned it from my friend from Turkey.
Just to let people know - truffles are problematic because they are impossible to find without the use of pigs or dogs, which is highly unethical. They are often kept in terrible conditions and there have been a lot of instances of farmers poisoning other farmers’ truffle dogs since it is such a competitive industry. Quite often truffles are not regarded as vegan since their cultivation involves the use of an animal. There is a lot more information online about the ethics of truffles. Truffle oil is usually a better option since it usually only contains truffle flavouring, not actual truffle.

Hi niomi , according to Ayurveda one shouldn't mix vegetable & fruits together. I learnt that too from PRANA , but would love to know your thoughts about it.

I was just thinking about making your banana bread today, but ran out of time, so I am gonna do it tomorrow. I make that pasta dish loads but have never tried the truffle - will defo be doing now. Have missed these types of videos. Can you recommend any good Vegan cheeses? It’s the only thing I have been missing since switching to plant based. I’ve tried quite a few but they taste overly strong or plastic. Do you or anyone here know of any decent ones please? xx
