- I arrive at my spot at the latest I've ever done, as I embark on yet another mission amidst the urban London wilderness. It's only as I make my first steps along the bank however, that I spot my quarry sitting strangely close to the margin.
It only takes a few casts to discover that there is way more than meets the eye in this area; but the fish aren't alone to be swarming this time, as security seem to have doubled their numbers. - Розваги

i don't understand how they can say its private, but open to the public for anyone to walk around, as a security officer myself i don't get the legal side to them kicking people off the waterways, i'm sure those waterways comes under the environment fishing licence rules. i'd love to do some perch fishing but id end up throwing one of those jobs worths in the water lol.

I fish my local canal and iv had a few run ins with caretakers and these neighbourhood watch guys lol this one guy pulls up in a car everytime i go to this one spot not matter what time day or night pouring rain hes there..gets out pretends to walk his dog then gets back in the car waits for ten minutes then drives off haha

BTW, the UA-cam algorithms seem to have changed. Once i only had to tap a 't' into the search bar, and up would come your channel. Now I have to wade through all sorts of other stuff before your channel name comes up. Odd.

Yea getting bit on the thumb or any finger tip is a pain...u will be reminded of the incident every time I go to pick up or grab any object...for a while....they got anticoagulant on their teeth to inhibit blood clotting as well....

Always use a trace even the smallest pike will cut through mono
I've found 30lb mono works fine as long as u re tie every fi, I've had multiple occasions where the line has been in contact with the teeth and its fine

Security seem to be a constant pain in the arse but why do you just keep going back. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Can you not join a local Angling Club.
Why I keep going back? Because I don't give up. Insanity is overlooking the public waters we have. I don't like clubs and am against the idea of such organisations being run. Joining them would be supporting them and the last thing I want to do is pay them with my own money just to help them to gloat over the fact they "own" the water they only claim ownership of so they can leech off anglers that are naïve enough to believe the club wasn't made to benefit anything more than those running it.

I am a river keeper for a club looking after a southern river and the money that we take from members goes directly back to looking after the wildlife and surroundings of the river and its inhabitants on the bank and in the river. Its a non profit making venture its about the love of the flower and fauna as well as the water and the fish-We take absolute pride in doing so and it brings everyone associated with the water and the venue a sense of joy and elation when they come and spend the day with us. You are sill young and learning the art of Angling. Maybe i am old in my views and age but at 20 years old you barely know anything about the true treasure of fishing. I hope you find it one day....
