  • The following short video was done for a customer who found he had a humidity reading of 60% when he had set the machine to 45% . Despite running the machine completely dry he could not seem to bring the humidity down. It suggested that there might be a problem with his humidity sensor. Note the humidity sensor and temperature sensor are the same replacement part (part 21.91). Replacement of a humidity/temperature sensor looks the same on the Ovaeasy Advance Series II 190, 380 and 580 machines. This video is based on an Ovaeasy Series II Advance 380. The principle is the same on an Ovaeasy 100, though the set up in the top of the machine looks different. It takes about 15 minutes to change a sensor. NOTE: You do not necessarily need to take eggs out while you change a sensor but you will have to take them out to check the temperature in the machine and recalibrate if necessary once the new sensor is in place. (See our separate video clip on checking and recalibrating your Ovaeasy). This should take you no more than 1.5 hours. If eggs are more than 7 days into incubation, it is generally accepted that you can remove them for up to 2 hours without detriment to the eggs. (Ovaeasy machines have programmable cooling which some people use routinely after 7 days). If eggs are less than 7 days into incubation, find an alternative incubator to hold them while you recalibrate the machine. Instructions on replacing the sensor are provided with your replacement sensor. Instructions on recalibration are in the instructions you received with the machine and can be downloaded from our website.
Always disconnect your machine from the power supply before removing any covers.

Where are the instructions on how to replace the three fans? I looked all over the site and online and no where does it tell how to change the fans? Emailing Brinsea provided nothing on how to do this other then remove the top but there no accessible panel to get to the fans.
