Wonderful info. I'm already nervous 🤔😮alllllll these activities, take overs, mingling, separation will definitely keep us on our feet. My gosh those little cubs n youngsters may all suffer.; few lovely males may even succumb they will definitely be outnumbered 🙆🏾♀️ What an interesting chilling n down right crucial moment ahead🦁🦁🦁🦁💥💯 really great info.👍🏾
Wow, this is a fantastic channel and a super find for me. I look forward to more detailed videos like this in the future. Thank you for your phenomenal work. It is impossible to stay current on the latest lion news from the Sabi sands. Hence, your work is much appreciated.
Amazing🥰 glad to better know the situation of the Ndzengha and Kambula pride and male. The Nkulu male have not finish yet to be cruel but it is nature😔. Thanks for this great update , your explanation was still cool😊😊😊. Just do you hear recently the Ndzengha moving into the Black dam male sector ?
Thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated ! The area in the NW corner of MM (West of Mlowathi River) and the area North of the Manyeleti River in Londolozi is kind of like "no mans land", where most of the interaction between the 2 coalitions took place. I have not heard, that the Ndzengha ventured that far north into Cheetah Plains, Chitwa Chitwa or Arathusa, which is clearly BDM territory.
Sbe is such a fighter her morther taught her well. Live just like leopard. I hope mates w/ strong coalition of lions. AVOCA COALITIONS , BLACK DAM BRO ARE TOUGH NOT 2 BE MESSED WITH. REST HAVE THEIR MAIN PRIDES . LADY LIONNESS.
All big coalitions who were dominant in the Sabi Sands in the last 15ish years, have shown cannibalistic traits, specially in the early stages of their dominance. Amongst them were the Mapogo, Majingilane, Matimba, Birmingham Males and now the Nkhulu's. I'm sure there were many more in the past, but before 2005/06 the pool of information was way smaller than it is today. The Nkhulu coalition is having 7 members, 6 Nkhulu males and the older De La Porte male called Dreadlocks.
Correction: The Mangheni pride was sired by all 6 Mapogos, not only Mr.T and KT. Both groups controlled the Tsalala pride at the time, the females denned in Othawa Property, an area more occupied by Western Mapogos. Mr.T, KT, Makhuku and PB were all seen mating with Tsalalas, WildEarth has a video of PB with Tsalalas in late 2008 where they were mating to produce the Manghenis early the next year. Rasta and Dreadlocks also mated as they recognized the cubs as theirs, when the Mangheni subadults, fleeing Majingis in mid 2010 run deep west they met the Western Mapogos there, there are reports and videos of it, but the Mangheni subs weren't attacked, as all 5 remaining Mapogos thought they were the fathers.

Several days ago one of the younger male subs was killed by at least 3 Nkhulus. So that makes another victim of the takeover in the Sand River Pride. I think there were at least 3 younger males, plus 2 older ones (5 males were seen one day walking as they were being filmed before the carnage began). So, one older and at least one of the younger males are dead now....
@@dionellwalker9762all male lions are a threat to unrelated cubs… Selati’s killed Mapogo cubs, Majingilane killed numerous cubs/subs, Avoca killed Kambula cubs, Birmingham’s killed Nkuhuma/Matimba cubs… the list goes on. But it’s incredibly sad to hear about.
Good question....He may not know where to look for him. The areas where both sets of Avocas were dominant in, are so far apart, that they have no idea where the other brother is. To the best of my knowledge, they did not hear each other vocalizing ever.
Because he has no idea he has any brother left, he doesn't even remember, last time they've seen each other was more than 6 years ago, they wouldn't recognize each other
I thought the toulon daughters from sand river pride were born 2011/12 unless these are a second generation of toulon daughters if so i didn't know they had that young of a daughters.
Unfortunately, there are no Ranger reports available for 2011/12. I could only find information starting in 2015 mentioning the Sandriver pride and Toulon males with cubs and subadults. The Mantimahle took over end of 2016 , so you could also be right, that they are 1-2y older.

There’s about to be a lot of bloodshed. There are so many coalitions. I’m routing for the kambula males and pride. I hope nkhulus don’t invade.
I agree that something is going to happen because there are too many prides!
This southern avocas male is the older brother to Mohawk .they need to find each other.
Who are the big coalition? How many, 6? 7? (The ones shown cannabilizing) im confused

Now I understand the resentment some had for the Mapogos because I've gained it for this coalition as they shed blood in their quest for dominance

Why doesn't the Southern Avoca look for his brother Mohawk?

@@BigDoggTheDon They won't, a lion's ability to recognize another lion only lasts little over 1 year.
