Personally I think that the Mazithi males are doing ok, i think that it’s just not easy to find a lion when you have no idea we’re they are, the Kruger is big and I think that you also need luck and be on the correct location and correct time to see them. The Mazithi males are also a strong duo and I don’t think they wouldn’t doubt to go for a fight with the S21 males. As for Tank I have no idea how he is doing at the moment, today I saw a old sighting of him from close by…he is such a magnificent lion in so many ways🦁 fierce and powerful. Its always better to have 3 lions then 2.Hopefully Tank can make a full recovery fast.I still believe Splitnose and Blondie can hold there own against any 2 lions, but they could use a couple off meals.Good video and its is surprising that so many lions seem to be heading there way.
I fully agree with your take Patrick. But they need Tank healthy, and back with them, if possible of course. Really hope they find each other soon. Because there's PLENTY of strange movement currently, from unknown males, young and old.
The fact that Tank made it back to his brothers, insofar he does not have TB and just weary from battled, he will only get and look stronger as the days go by. Also, his brothers will garner confidence and spend less energy looking fir him and focus on their immediate surroundings. If he does have TB, that will be a shame but he can still live as long as he eats.

Well I guess the old S21 males want the territory so Splitnose and Blondie has a choice to make either fight or flee and if they are not in good condition they should flee or bring the pride that Zaza and his brothers are in closer to them so Zaza and his brothers can help their fathers but unfortunately I don't see that happening. So we better be prepared for the worst especially with Tank not healthy to help them. The Kruger is fixing to have New King's not only with these prides but also Casper and his brothers territory because of the 6 Nkulhu males in their territory. We are going to lose a lot of males. I'm with you Buffie, It breaks my heart to see Tank loose condition so quickly, but they have come back from worse. Such a hard life for the Lions I think that is why I am so drawn to them, they are such a Mystery and so resilient even when the odds are against them, and still sometime come out on top❤. I will not tell a lie, Christmas this year snuck up on me. My dad used to say it's just another day, you know ANY holiday!! I must admit I thought the gommos were going to be untouchable for some time due to them having decent numbers and being really big but with tank keep disappearing makes them vulnerable and quite easily taken out by another duo if they play it smart and timing their move. Hopefully they will all go their separate ways. It definitely seems that something is brewing and more than likely going to be some casualties but it’s a roll of the dice who is going to be the first side to suffer? Me too Kris. I honestly thought they were untouchable, until i saw Tank with my own eyes, going backwards in physical condition. It's scary, to know that such a large and beautiful lion, can also deteriorate rapidly. Extremely sad. Zaza and his four brothers can definitely start to challenge, having the numbers advantage. I really think they can. Just hope they don't finish the job, and take the Vurhami pride. That's a possibility too. Maybe they are seeing other lions being killed by poachers and are fleeing those areas? Cause I do not think there is very much effort made in stopping poachers killing lions.

My dearest friend, it's definitely possible. The Nkuhlu's are causing havoc in many areas, known areas, so I'm not ruling that out at all. But, there's plenty of strong lions around, that can be an equal threat, namely the old S21 warriors. Things are definitely changing, that's for sure. very unsettling times. Question - is it possible that this movement south by all of these unknown males is because they are being driven out of the far north by the Nkulhus? I have been fearful that the Nkulhus are going to be the next Mapogos. And perhaps even the S21 males sense the danger and that's why they have moved. I don't know that much about lions but I would guess that in regards to the Gomondwanes, if there life is now stressed from morning to night that can probably cause health issues.
That's a very good question Holger. That's definitely a possibility, and the reason why there's more movement down south. As for the Gomondwane males health, it's also definitely possible. And by looking at their overall weight currently, they are definitely FAR from relaxed. There's PLENTY of movement here right now, from unknown males, young and old.
