I agree with some of your rant and they are still working and adding things with an update coming in decemberish. i do think you can make plaster and dye the plaster i think. dye is fairly easy to make though dyeing fabric requires crushed alum. you are plugging along great and sky moose looked hilarious trying to fly. thanks for sharing.
Pies count as meals. Meals are best, because they give the most satiety and they also STOP the hunger for a period of time. More satiety a meal gives you, the longer the time before it starts dropping again. During the stop period you can do as much as like, sprinting all you want, and it won't affect your hunger. I remember watching Kurazarrh talking about it in one of his videos quite while back when I was binge watching his season 2 guide series. Also, put your rot into barrels. When sealed, after a while it turns into compost. Very useful. And also, if you find a halite pillar, dig through it find sylvite. It's a mineral that when crushed it turns potash, a very potent fertilizer. It works miracles on medium fertility soil. And finally, a tip, in case you didn't already know: if your food rots into your cooking pot, bowl, or crock for some reason and you don't know how to get it out, throw it to water. It gets rot out and saves you from throwing your pottery out into trash. Horsetail seems to grow in fallow farmland pretty easily, just keep grass from growing in to give it more room to grow in.
Thankfully you remodelled the farm. I was figuratively screaming at the monitor "Just dig some more dirt" when you cultivated the low fertility soil. Btw, do you know what will grow on the skyfarm? Animals. Packed dirt is a great building block, another one I just recently discovered is "strewn straw", that one could come in handy. Watching you harvest all those cattails, reminds me that you got a bee's hive somewhere on the west side of your abode, if I remember correctly (It has been a while since the episode where you came across them.).
