      I mean I’m a mechanic and it blows my mind how so many people just have no interest in learning how to fix things themselves. All you need for a vehicle to go is gas, spark, and compression. You check all those off and you’re good to go.

    My personal idea, I think Marauder 250 is gret for beginners, tiny people less 5' 5" and old bikers who wish a bike frendly and easy than over 500 cc.

    Thanks for the recent review, i have this bike in black too, i mainly bought it small like this one because incase I need to teach someone to ride a motorcycle for example one of my friends or family member. The other reason is because i own a Suzuki Samurai so I thought it would be funny to own a Suzuki Motorcycle as well. This bike reminds me alot of the small Honda Rebels that I usta see at Motorcycle Schools in the 90s, Beside this bike and the Rebel I dont know if theres anything else thats a good small bike for short riders, the only other one I can think of was the Yamaha Exciter, from there you might have to check out Scooters or some older Antiques that are tiny and short. Its strange but theres not too many tiny bikes. I notice that the GZ250 gas tank looks way too large for the size of bike, I think it looks weird heehee. My bikes been sitting for a few years, I need to clean out the carburetor cause I think its all plugged up by now heehee. 😊

      @@ChristopherChamberlain-fw2iy I don't disagree with that however this is the worst time to try to sell a motorcycle because unfortunately we are in the middle of a market decline so the prices go up and nobody buys that's the problem even used with the way the economy is nobody has extra money to spend on buying motorcycles so all these people with high prices are just having the bikes sit they're not going anywhere nobody's buying them. Until the economy financially starts to recover a little bit the motorcycle Market will be all over the map super high prices with nobody purchasing

    this one, the suzuki tu250x (basically the same bike) and the yamaha v-star 250 are by far the most noob friendly bikes i know of, at the very least if you like the style (i think the v-star looks even better). the only bad thing about this bike is that they dont sell it in my country (there are variants of it but they don't look as cool).

    Looking for my first bike and theres loads of these out there used. I am curious, is neutral easy to find? The bike I used at the motorcycle school was a suzuki vanvan, and you could only get neutral by reaching down with your hand and ever so gently pulling up on it lol. Just worried this suzuki might be the same?

    • @IFixShet
      @IFixShet  Рік тому +1

      It really depends on how hard somebody was shifting the bike. Also depends on how worn out the clutch is And the clutch components. It also depends on the type of transmission in the motorcycle. As the oil Heats up in a lot of bikes it starts getting harder to grab neutral It is very common it's not a huge deal. Technically when you're at a light you shouldn't neutral outYou should always just hold the clutch in and be ready to move if necessary it will not hurt the transmission by holding the clutch in it will not affect the transmission or the clutch at all. The more you use neutral while driving around the harder it is going to be to find when you go to stop and turn off the bike. Also a hard to reach neutral can be caused by something as simple as a neutral switch replacement. A lot of times the end of the neutral switch will get sheared off with ride time and will need to be replaced otherwise the neutral light will not pop-up This is when I say things like you have to reach down and lightly pull on the lever to reach neutral that normally is a sign of a worn out neutral switch.

    • @IFixShet

      You shift when it feels right. Shifting is done by what you feel it takes time to learn your motorcycle. What works for me won't be what works for you.

    Hey man, great vid, i'm 6.4-6.5 and 130kg , i wanted to get this as my first bike , however your comment about being a tiny bike and feeling crowded at 6ft, makes me reconsider, do you think maybe it'll be too little for me? too uncomfortable? should i get maybe a higher cubature? how can i choose a good starter bike for a big guy

    • @IFixShet
      @IFixShet  11 місяців тому +1

      You're pretty tall for a bike like this you would feel very scrunched. You can't change the peg position for riding so you're stuck with what is offered you can alter The Handlebar style but that won't keep your legs from being really bent and you looking ginormous on the bike

    • @IFixShet
      @IFixShet  11 місяців тому +1

      I mean anything even in 600 class whether it's a sport bike or a cruiser is going to look small on you. It's just something you have to get through if you're going through the starter bike phase however I will say that a great starter platform that is big and bulky for being so undersized would be in almost the same category of pricing is the V-Star 650 classic. Not tons of power perfect starter bike and it will fit the size of larger Riders and accommodate your looks with a wide body stance

      Yes I thought it was a twin because it has dual headers which doesn't make much sense if it's a single cylinder. I don't understand the need for the second header it should only need one if it's a single cylinder. Leave it up to Suzuki to do some strange things outside of the norm
