Hello from the studio. What a time...!
Another week on Frank Auerbach, 1931 - 2024. Sharing the conclusion from "Speaking and Painting", by Catherine Lampert.
Jordan Wolfson is a painter and a teacher, painting for almost 50 years and teaching for over 30 years. Exhibiting both nationally and internationally, Jordan is the recipient of various awards, including the Pollock Krasner Foundation Grant. In his recurring explorations of form, space, and light, Jordan has been investigating the relationships between perception, mark, and Consciousness. This has led to his experience of painting as a life-practice and a means for fundamental understanding.
