Love how John and Trish were not camera shy! That little snake. Oh boy! Snakes. Not a fan. Just not. Food looks so yummy! I wish you the very best on learning those phrases! Can’t wait to hear how it goes. My sister lived in France for 5 years and didn’t take a single class and was fluent by the time she got back home. I mean it was 5 years though😂 So much easier to say the Lord blesses and Keeps you! May the force be with you both. Brave brave souls you are!
You guys are awesome and moving to another country and learning their language is impressive. We’re hoping to move to Mexico summer of 2025 God willing. Ajijic Expat community which one doesn’t need to know Spanish however we’re learning. What area of Mexico did y’all settle in? It’s a beautiful neighborhood and homes seem to be large and separated from each other. Many blessings, be safe, Bobby
Thank you! We hope all works out for you and your move. We love learning the language. We settled in the southern part of Oaxaca. It's actually more of a poorer part of Mexico and we are immersing ourselves in the culture. :-)
@@NickandNeoshea thank you for getting back to my question. You two are brave and it doesn’t look like a poor area. We are going to rent in CHAPALA-Ajijic and try a few months? Like I said it’s mostly expats and that’s kind of sad for the local Mexicans. We have high school class mates from 1976 living in San Miguel de Allende, they seem to love it there. I don’t know if I would like the steep rods and cold. ??? Be safe, best wishes and many blessings. I’m following you two and look forward to your next video. Bobby and Jimmy from Texas.
I've lived here 5 years, still study online daily. Can converse a bit now, but still have a hard time understanding them sometimes...but yea, learning another language is tough.
I married into the culture so I was immersed from day one. I have found that a lot of people yell at me when they think I don't understand them. The teenagers tell them she's not deaf, she just didn't understand some words.

Praying for you! If this is God’s direction for you, and I believe it is, rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to help you learn the language. This is not something you do in your own strength. Pray first and hang on!
You got this guys! Before you know it, you'll be having full on conversations with the locals. The ocean view is beautiful!
Definitely can't wait for the full conversations. So many sweet people here that I want to visit fully with. :-)
You got this! ❤
Thank you!

Yes! Thank you!

Oh wow! I’m sorry to hear that. Yea, you won’t understand any better with someone yelling.
In the snow, uphill. Both ways.😅
