If someone were smart, they would turn redo this into a movie franchise, it could be the next Harry Potter. There's still a huge fan base, and the next gen would love the hero/animal aspect of it. I love this series, I would like to see what modern special affects could do with the stories now. Some of the books would have made awesome movies.
Oh my God. Exactly what I'm thinking. With the right casts and recent technology this series would be a bomb if they remake it. I totally love animorphs and am still looking the books in any stores, new or secondhand, because I still haven't collected the complete series...

Not really.. leaked footage doesn't really hurt movies in today's time like it did before. Hell, the whole reason Deadpool was even made was because they purposely did that. With modern tech it would make it easier on so many levels, the show in the 90's was ahead of its time because of the set backs they had to do with the animals and special affects.. look at Jungle Book for example... it would totally be the right time and place for this series of movies to get a reboot, with all the same type of crap that's out now, it'd be a refreshing sight to see something like that out there.. One of those great ideas that have just been overlooked.. if these books were released in today's time, there would definitely have been a movie franchise...

When I came to this video and saw how many people also like this book with me, I was like "I'm among friends" XD. But seriously This is my favorite book series and I almost cried when i read the last book. The AuxillaryMorphs died and so did Rachel. I just loved this book series
@xTrunkzx Actually, the ship was disintigrated when Visser Three's Blade ship ambushed it (it had been hiding on the Earth's moon). The dome was intentionally detatched from the ship during thwe ambush to allow it to turn faster, and was knocked out of orbit during the battle.
I like how his clothes just come out of nowhere... Andalites are not only able to morph, but can create stuff out of thin air-they've got "Fullmetal Alchemist" 's Philosophers stone :O
i liked the toys. i had a rachel that turns into a lion, marco that turns into a gorilla, ax that turns into a scorpion and visser three in andalite form that turned into some kind of big monster. i thought visser three being a red andalite was weird though. all of them are blue and i dont think having a yeerk in your head would make you change colour

LOL our english teacher told us the other day: "just wait, in 50 years, they will remake the twilight movie, because everybody loves stories of interesting things such as vampires, things that always capture the human imagination. just like theyve done with a whole bunch of horror films: they've been remade many times." it makes me hope that they will remake this! and yes, i pictured Ax much better looking and sounding differnt than this.
Late reply I know, but I used to picture Andalites as a graceful blue deer. His voice was kimd of calm and deep. When I saw him in the show... Ok, uh, im just kinda gonna go now...
@xTrunkzx First off; did they keep ANYTHING consistent with the books? All the battle-morphs are different, there's NOTHING right about Ax (BTW, I forget; did Ax land on Earth first and Elfangor went to save him, or did Ax go to Earth to help Elfangor but got lost?), and nothing happens in order!
Shawn's acting is definitely sub-par during his Animorphs stint.......i'm thinking he was hired more for his looks than anything for x-men......and i haven't seen him in a single thing since, so he must not be THAT good of an actor..... Paulo on the other hand.....amazing all around.....just kinda overlooked [up until recently]......

I forgot how low-budget the show was...No wonder it was only a few episodes. Shoddy effects, it looks like a high school play, and the acting? Yeesh. I wonder if they'll make a movie. GOOD writers, GOOD casting, the effects of a blockbuster-grade movie, and most importantly following the books. I would so see that. Do you KNOW how amazing the morphs, spaceships, and aliens would look with top of the line CG??

And fair enough with the budget argument (how small was that budget, anyway?), which is yet another reason why the show needs to be revived and redone with modern graphics, better costumes, and a bigger budget!
@kyro7465 It used to be on Nickelodeon, but it was cancelled because it wasn't very popular. The books were better, and the show's budget didn't have enough money for decent costumes/effects. Or all the animals the kids morph into.

Clearly, this should have been animated. None of that excuses the god awful writing and acting though. I recall some scene where Rachael "looses control" of a cat morph and chases mouse marco...only she's acting like it's sexual or something. that's about as bad as tv gets
