I'm in awe! The labor, the design, the time, the patience, the acquisition, the decisions, and most important: the explosive creativity! Stunning piece of work!
I love how it showcases the vast colour palette of LEGO,it really gets the artistic part of my brain to tingle.I'd wish mech MOCs were more creative with color than just "light gray with yellow accents".
I disagree, People need to break out of the Lego set mindset and learn to be more creative. However there should be more creative ideas media to help bloom creativity.
@@pwcorgi2000 most people don't collect Legos to be creative. They collect for the same reason people like puzzles, gundums, toy train kits, miniature painting, etc. It's just a fun side activity that they can display without having to build something's ng entirely from scratch.
This is actually the first monochrome palette build I’ve ever seen. This is so freaking cool! I wouldn’t have expected that much detail. Love the scenes.
I love how these figures look. It makes me feel like going down a dark corridor with all these figs as statues for different things and old warriors before fighting the final boss
I've seen a few of these monocolor/monofig displays, and I absolutely love them. It's inspired me to try to make my own version. I have to say, the "Everyone is Awesome" set is fantastic for getting started with this, it comes with multiple mono-colored minifigs.
When I was little, I had a set of original characters I made that were all mono-colored (and all wore gray stingray helmets). The idea was they were elementals and the helmets kind of contained them or help keep the human form. Anyway... There was only red, orange, green, blue, light gray, black, white. And many had to have torsos of faces turned around to hide the printing. Yellow, as i recall wasn't possible at the time because I could not make completely yellow legs back then. So, my inner child is in awe of these mono-color figs. And just a great build. I might have to buy an EIA set.
It’s almost unbelievable. I mean with some I just couldn’t believe it was genuine at first - until he explained where it was from. Absolutely astonishing.
These are all absolutely gorgeous, the amount of thought and effort that must’ve been put into these is insane, just managing to add so much detail to make such cohesive dioramas with disparate parts, incredible
I really admire this amazing creativity. It seems like too many people are only into the Lego sets, and it "must be just like the set" with no derivations.
i have learned 3 things today 1) there are WAY more colors than i thought there was 2) there are WAY more different unique pieces than i thought there was 3) people are still really into legos and its really cool to see people still enjoying those colorful bricks so many years later.
I don't know how I'd never heard of these habitat stacks, but it definitely gives me a lot of inspiration for displaying CMFs and such! This is amazing!! Gorgeous work!
Lego should release a set of the most commonly needed bricks, commonly needed accessories and then a third with abstract and random blocks, you should be able to choose any color so it's not hard to come by or scarce
A collectible set : each one sold separately and you collect them until you have them all ! It'd be easier to produce, buy, and would spark a craze ! I'd look for the grey / sand stones / olive green and teal.
What is crazy to me is how muted some colors look next to a similar color. Sand red and olive green for example don’t look the same as when they would be “isolated”. I would go insane sorting and building this
My nephew and his grandpa are going to Brick World in Denmark next week, so pretty much the trip of a lifetime for him as Lego is his life and pretty much future job.
This is easily the coolest thing i've ever seen built out of lego. Sure it doesn't compare in size to some of the more intricate mocs people have made but to restrict yourself to such a small amount of bricks per color and still make something this absolutely insane is incredible. Great work Dana.
I honestly want to have this display as a poster on my wall, it is so satisfying and beautiful. The azure skier is giving off some René Magritte vibes, I love him ✨
I don't have anything about removing the printing, but him removing the printing off a very expensive piece and then immediately the next one having 2 pigs still with printing is funny
I can’t watch this enough. I love this idea. I wish I knew how to find out about upcoming shows. I only get info about Oaks, Pa & Edison, NJ. I would go to many other places.
This is building on extreme difficulty mode. The most amazing set of models I have seen. I don't think people appreciate the time something like this would take to make. 1000 hours or more.
I hate to be this guy, the build is incredible but whatever auto white balance or chroma adjust you have going on in the video seems to be shifting the colors around perhaps it's a youtube compression thing? maybe it's something to do with mac retina display on my end sorry if this comes across as a rude or unfortunate comment, but I figured with such a vibrant build it might be worth deactivating that setting in the future
I came across this video the other day and didn’t have time to watch it then. I couldn’t stop thinking about it and finally got a chance to watch and it’s just as cool as I hoped!! This is honestly amazing🤩
Does anyone know if these are ALL the LEGO colors besides the translucent colors? Very impressive. This must have taken a long time to build and gather all these pieces! Great job! I love it.
This is amazing. I wish I wasn't colorblind. I've got a rare form due to lack of rods and cones in my retinas. They say I only see primary colors. Everything is interpreted in those terms. Secondary colors like green, purple, and orange can look like either one of their base colors depending on saturation. And tertiary colors like brown are the worst. Sometimes they look like anything dark brown can look black or red, medium browns can look like greens or whatever. Lighter browns like tan and stuff can just look like greys. For me orange is a hard one, it can look like green, yellow, brown, red, or anything. I usually try to figure out colors by associating them with the colors of things that I've been told the color of. When I go clothes shopping I have to bring someone with and remember what colors my clothes are. I've been known to leave pink shirts at the counter because I almost bought them thinking it was blue. Hot pink looks just like royal blue. And Bleu cheese doesn't look at all like blue to me. Even though the veins running through it I'm told is a darkish blue. I love learning about color though. I've read books and have some art training. So I know about color schemes. I can tell you that this is an impressive array of monochromatic LEGO builds. Nice job guys. I just wish things like lime and chartreuse didn't look to me like plain yellow. Have a bricktastic day!
I'm in awe! The labor, the design, the time, the patience, the acquisition, the decisions, and most important: the explosive creativity! Stunning piece of work!
Thanks! 😁
LEGO Rainbow castle
And focus, dedication
Amazing 🥲 this is truly beyond the brick
why am I not seeing what you are seeing?
@@mrmanakin9684 it’s okay, not everyone sees art the same way.
I love that he added all of the classic and uncommon ones like sand red. Probably the priciest of the all the dioramas.
I love how it showcases the vast colour palette of LEGO,it really gets the artistic part of my brain to tingle.I'd wish mech MOCs were more creative with color than just "light gray with yellow accents".
@@chee.rah.monurB That's why I love when LEGO adds new colours, more variety with MOCs instead of boring grey or monotone.
There’s no transparent neon so... he failed miserably
@@TotallyNotKanye if this is failing then I’m happy with failing 😜
I never knew that Sand Red existed before I saw this!
Man lego should make official one-color dioramas. These would be really cool display items for any household! Aweosme work!

The rainbow display set might be a step in this direction
They are not doing it because they have big quality problems with different shades of color. Look at dark orange.

Thx 😁

GOSH this is so pleasing to look at!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
This is one of those displays I can sit in front of for long periods of time and always be in awe of. Simply amazing and eye capturing.
Thx! 😁 This type of comment made all the time building worth it.
This is absolutely amazing! And the amount of creativity is unbelievable.
Thanks! 😁
The main impressive thing about this is finding enough variety of pieces in those more obscure colors. I'm surprised this was even possible.
I've seen a few of these monocolor/monofig displays, and I absolutely love them. It's inspired me to try to make my own version. I have to say, the "Everyone is Awesome" set is fantastic for getting started with this, it comes with multiple mono-colored minifigs.
The Everyone is Awesome set is how I got started. 😁
Great suggestion, I think I'll start on that! I was thinking this would be a great challenge! Thanks for the suggestion!
The habitats all together are stunning! They’re so aesthetically pleasing.
He is so passionate. I can tell he really loved making this
Thank you for noticing 😁

This just made me notice how well you could use Lego to calibrate colors on your screen.
That rainbow set needs to be officially a new set
Yee

Is that sand red?!?!? 😊 So amazing!! Great work!
Yep 😉
camera colorimetry is bad probably due to artificial lights
@@Romeo.Mike.96 oh thank God I thought I was finding out I was colorblind

Awesome job Dana. Thanks for walking us through your mindset on each build. Amazing.
Thanks Wes!
I would love it if Lego made sets like these to create from or just have this set in general. Awesome.
We don't need sets like this. Just more videos to show off ideas to spark creativity.
4:17 I wonder if the creator is a fan of or knows about Starset. That really fits the costumes and theme of their concerts
i have learned 3 things today

Sadly though, too many people it seems, are only into Lego sets, and not branching out, even within a Lego set.
Seeing everything so perfectly color-coordinated makes the happy chemicals in my brain. I love it.

I love how each one has it's own theme and story
Incredible! Playing havoc with me and my colourblindness. Too many are my favourites.
This deserves to win an award. Like a prestigious lego award.

I believe that is caused by the camera's color temperature correction on the close up shots
This is truly an art piece compared to most builds! Really stunning
The creativity it takes to make something like this is amazing! I am proud of myself just for putting the stickers on straight...
These look so beautiful to look at
One of the best mocs ever

im just glad lego elves got included lmao, me and my sister own all the sets excluding the polybags
Very cool and creative
