Back in 2009, I was hanging out with an older kid in my neighborhood who I had no business being around with when one day we went to his room and he started to boot this game up. Back then, I was conditioned to think that games were lucky to get the detail of small areas that mimicked the full scope of real world locations, but when he started showing me the open world of Fallout 3 I was AWESTRUCK. This right here was the game that made me save my oddjob money for an Xbox 360 just so I could experience this world on my own. I'm very happy he never got around to showing this scene cause the almost hour spent in the vault made me appreciate just how incredible a reveal the irradiated landscape could give me on my first time through. One of my favorite moments of all time in a video games and still is some 17 odd years later

Personally I try to max out lockpick and science as soon as possible, because I hate having to leave doors and safes unopened that might have goodies inside. Science gets you through computer locks, after you do the word search minigame. Look for matching pairs of brackets i.e. (),[],{}, and to delete wrong words. And with repair, if you get hold of a repairman jumpsuit, always put that on before mending guns and armour because they'll be repaired better with the boost to your repair skill. As well as stimpacks and sleep, you can heal by eating food and drinking anything non-alcoholic. It's all in the item descriptions. But yeah, if in trouble shove everything in your mouth, which also saves weight. Food is cheaper than stimpacks!

U murderer !! keep in mind once a NAMED NPC is dead ..it stays dead in this game ^^ . u cannot AKS questions later .. all UNnamed NPCs u can kill as many as u want they dont count but for the named ones u should atleast save before

Did you miss all the free stimpacks in quarters right at when you have free roam i think there is 10 in a medical box.
