Red Sea makes their own DC upgrade for these skimmers. Comes with the sicce pump, additional sensors in the collection cup lid and a controller.

I just saw the dc version at my lfs today for not much more than the non dc version still sold, the owner told me he doesn’t even carry the non dc version anymore

These are THE WORST skimmer you can buy. That's why they just offered the "upgrade" package for an extra $160 or so. This skimmer is super sensitive to water level and will drain your tank without you knowing it. But aany other skimmer than this.
