I currently intend on making a mod ("add-on") for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition that'll implement G.O.A.P into the AI of the mobs. The intent is to make PvE combat much more challenging at a fundamental level by - more or less - making the world itself all the wiser. Imagine if the Ancient Cities, for example, were to be occasionally visited by... "unwelcome guests?" *_Who you gonna call..?_* ❤
@EliasW. I'm not far into it, yet, but I'm feeling good! As of yet, the focus is to allow the Deep Dark to be more "free to explore" by having Sculk Shriekers summon *_Lost Souls_* instead of The Warden. *_(These are basically sculk-themed cousins of normal cave mobs that have unique powers.)_* The idea came to my mind thanks to Half-Life²'s "Sandtraps" level - where walking on the beach's sands causes Antlions to spawn.
legendary algorithm pull... kinda sad to see this is seemingly the only thing this dude made and at least for now he stoped making sutff, this style of explaining this system is great.
while there are some interesting concepts in this video, it does not describe what is generally understood to be goap. Goap uses a* to find the cheapest sequence of actions to arrive at a goal state from the current state ua-cam.com/video/gm7K68663rA/v-deo.html
Thank you for sharing this. It's quite well made and explained.
totally a wonderful hidden gem

@@EliasW. if you find the time please do, you have a really nice style and I would love to watch more, I am sure I am not the only one.
I really hope that you are continuing this on GOAP.
There are just no good implementations of this anywhere, it seems.
Thanks.
I will

Watch the third part where I talk about A* and why (not) to use it.
