The question that is most often asked:
How did you drill the holes?
Answer: With a wooden hand drill.
Also, you can watch the full video on my channel, which is filled with interesting moments and details. You will get not only answers to your questions but also a good impression from watching.

Without a savior, we face an eternity separated from God, destined for a place of deep suffering and anguish. The truth is, our sins separate us from the perfect and holy presence of God. But I bring you hope amidst this darkness. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, offers us a way of escape from this eternal suffering. He willingly bore the weight of our sins on the cross, enduring unimaginable agony so that we may find forgiveness and salvation. Please, consider the gravity of this message. This one won't be very warm though because he didn't shape the top side of the logs so they cradle the one above, or put sphagnum or some equivalent between the logs for insulation. You can even see air gaps between some of the logs. Maybe he is going to pack something in all the crevasses after, but that's not as effective, and more likely he just skipped all that cuz he's just making this for a video.

    1) use the log to first make a crafting table then convert the logs into planks
    2) you can get 4 planks from each piece of log
    3) keep some torches around so that you can keep mobs from spawning near your base
From here on you can start farming around for food source

My husband built 2 cabins totally by himself. The first was a log cabin about 3 times the size of this one..he used it as his shop. The logs we got from dried out trees in an old forest fire area. I did help him get the logs, but the only other thing I helped him with was to place the first 3 purlens on top for the beginning of the roof. The second cabin he built out of leftover wood planks, just for something to do with his time. It was about the same size as this one. This one is nicely built though. He also built 3 coups for our chickens, ducks and peacocks; a small barn and fences for our Minature Donkeys; a large greenhouse and raised garden; a gazebo around our round cedar hot tub; a bridge made out of small driftwood; and various other things. He was one of the hardest workers on the planet. Unfortunately, he passed away at the age of 51. Long story, but for various reasons we lost all of it and our small acerage. I miss him, our home, and our animals very much..but I'm grateful for those "Good Times".
