When I connect Nanokey2 to Seqtrak, only Kick plays when I press the keys on Nanokey2, I cannot switch to the Synth section. What needs to be configured to switch to Synth1, Synth2 or DX?
Thank you for your comment! To change the MIDI transmit channel on the nanokey2, you need a Mac/PC and the KORG Kontrol Editor software. You can download the KORG Kontrol Editor from the following webpage. www.korg.com/us/support/download/product/1/133/ MIDI channels for each track on the SEQTRAK can be checked on the following page. manual.yamaha.com/mi/de/seqtrak/en/SEQTRAK_user_guide_En_B0_017.html
I just noticed you don't seem to have the Nanokey directly connected to the SeqTrak, but you seem to be playing it using it. Do you have it hooked up to a computer, and are connecting to the SeqTrak via bluetooth? However you did it, you did a fantastic job demoing the capabilities of the DX engine. Nice work!
Yes, I am using a laptop. Specifically, I am monitoring the status of the DX Track parameters using the Seqtrak app on the laptop. As for the equipment connection, the nanokey2 and Seqtrak are directly connected via USB cable, and the Seqtrak app on the laptop is connected via Bluetooth. Talking about the tricks to my performance, there are mainly two things. One is that I am manipulating the parameters of DX Track (Algorithm, Mod amount, Freq ratio, Feedback level ) in real time. The other is that I am also changing the parameters of the Arpeggiator (Arp, Type, Speed) in real time. In addition, I am changing the octaves from low to high ranges. Anyway, I am glad you are enjoying it!
I was looking for a small midi keyboard that can be connected to seqtrak. However, I didn't know if they were compatible or not, so I didn't know what to buy. Thanks to this video, I found out that nanokey can be used. thank you!
@@algaebeats I immediately got a nanokey and tried connecting it via USB. However, I can only play the bass drum sound. What settings do you use to play your keyboard? If you don't mind, please let me know.
@yama3162 If you want to control Seqtrak's Synth Track using a nanoKEY, you will need to change the midi transmit channel on the nanoKEY. Specifically, you can change the midi channel using the KORG KONTROL Editor software on a PC or Mac. The software can be downloaded from the following site, so please give it a try. For your information, the midi channels for Seqtrak's Synth1, Synth2, and DX are 8, 9, and 10, respectively. www.korg.com/us/support/download/product/0/156/
You're doing the lords work with these Seqtrak videos~☆
Thanks!
