    I find the fact that some random ASMR video of a lady eating pickles can get millions of views while knowledge like this roams the depths of a free platform to just be utterly depressing

    If you are looking into the costs of MSC treatments and worrying about whether you'll have enough money:
    First, stop searching the Internet for "ballpark" pricing. You are NOT a ballpark, you are an individual with a unique combination of symptoms and conditions.
    Next, contact the clinic(s) you're interested in and ASK FOR A QUOTE. You'll need to provide medical records, and your doctor's office should be able to help you regarding that. The clinic will provide you with an accurate quote for treating you. If the cost is out of your reach, take that quote and post it on a crowdfunding website, or send a copy of it to that wealthy uncle you've never met, etc.

    is it impossible to suggest growing an extra organ in vitro WHILE in vivo, near the organ it is copying, in order to regrow a healthier organ for transplant? Let's say a kidney is damaged, and the patient needs a transplant. With stem cells available a willing to repair or regrow tissue, could you somehow stimulate the kidney to regrow cells in a "petri dish" near the affected kidney whilst also being attached to the original kidney for quick access to information and blood supply?

    This was a big jump from salamander to human re limb regeneration. And blaming the docs for stitching fingers up. Have tests been done in mice, rabbits and monkeys where a limb is severed and then the mouse, rabbit or monkey is waved in the air for the blood to clot, followed by complete limb regeneration? I doubt this works. It didn't work for a number of limping stray dogs I've seen with limbs damaged by fights with other stray dogs (or other mishaps).
    MSC do have therapeutic potential and I hope we are at the start of medical revolution but the reality is more nuanced that the apotheosis of MSCs as a panacea. See Prof. Caplan's owned published research "Chondrogenic Differentiation of Mesenchymal Stem Cells: Challenges and Unfulfilled Expectations", 2014.

    Would old fashion bone broth carry MSC's and transplant them orally in the body?

    • @AlmazulVortex

      redtroika hello, I have been thinking or asking the same the last weeks. The fat that RNA therapy exist (Benjamin s. Frank) and that it has been used decades ago for Royal Lee (standar process company) and also the fact that glandular therapy exist, and all of the you can eat, lead me to the theory that bone broth contains RNA from the materials there cooked.
      Stem cells go to the damaged tissue the same that RNA or glandulars do. I think the can be the same.
      Am advocate of this is Darren Schmidt, he has a channel in UA-cam.
      Is the eating of organs the key? Maybe, but we need repair and it is not in the meat, organs are Nutrient dense.
      Another thing is the realization that stem cells are also in fat, so ketogenic diet would be more rebuilding if this it true. People get rejuvenated in ketogenic and intermitent fasting because increase of growth hormone and autofagy where material are recycled and part of those materials is RNA and DNA, plus other things.
      This algo would lead me to think animal fat is better than vegetable fat for the reading it contains RNA.
      Regards

      @@AlmazulVortex interesting reply. Are you suggesting MSC survive digestion and be absorbed without degradation? That doesn't make sense?

      Stem Cells are in urine.
      See Urine AID video. One can ingest it in a capsule, orally or as a suppository. See the work of Dr. Shaker Mousa with camel urine and cancer therapy
      The Eygptians, Chinese, Japanese, Germans, writers of antiquity mention it.
      It can heal wounds, blisters, jellyfish stings, snakebites, where ones own body produces an antigen to the snakebite.
      You can place it on the outer dermis bc of the high "urea" content it.
      It is added in beauty products.
      It is in hormone replacement therapy products.

    I'm an otherwise healthy 34 y/o male. I have Cauda Equina Syndrome where there is scaring inside the spine from a gunshot 8 months ago around L2/L3. I am only 8 months in recovery and getting a lot back except for the specific problems associated with CES from the nerves being compressed form scaring. But nothing exactly, "new". Nothing I didn't think I was going to get back. Basically I can't move my left foot or feel below the knee but my right leg is fine. Also some other issues I'd rather not discuss on here. ;}
    It's hard for me to watch this and not get emotional on top of being a little bit out of league in the terminology. Can anyone tell me if this video suggests MSCs may help with either the regrowth of nerves or the reduction of scar tissue?
    It seems like it's right on the line. Somewhere between "this is and isn't what is work for, it will maybe work for this in some people, and it can regrow fingers and help us all live longer"

    • @JuloTFK
      @JuloTFK 2 роки тому

      I know that there are a lot of promising clinical trials regarding the use of MSC to reduce spine scarring after injury and to promote axon regrowth. I am not an expert in MSC although I did a short internship in the Bergmannsheil hospital of Bochum, Germany, where they were doing some research about this topic. Also, I am doing a PhD in tissue engineering where I isolate MSC both from bone marrow and from adipose tissue (fat from liposuctions), but it is for artificial trachea replacements so not really related to this topic.
      In my opinion, it seems that we can hope to see this kind of application done in regular hospitals in 10-15 years. In fact, some clinics are already doing it (See Dr. Riordan clinic in Panama) but the costs are around 30,000 $.
      Good luck! :)

      Swiss Medica in Belgrade; 8,500 euros, includes 120 million umbilical cord MSC infusion , 5 day stay in clinic. In Panama, around $25,000.

    • @lucasthompson1650
      @lucasthompson1650 6 років тому

      redtroika Riordan's clinic in Panama also discounts follow-up treatments. If your first treatment was $25,000 USD, follow-up sessions would be around $18,500 each. Other clinics might offer something similar. Also, prices for treatments targeting specific ailments can be quite a bit more than basic "general health" MSC injections for dealing with inflammation or aging issues.

    • @redtroika8264

      Unfortunately US pricing is way too high for MSC infusion. The technology is not that complicated and very basic for a lab tech/scientist. We will have to wait and see what happens.

    • @AlmazulVortex

      Nick Dino try ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting to increase growth hormone and autofagy. Also it will increase bdnf (brain derived neurotrophic factor) that basically is stems cell production in the brain. My contention is that if it is produced in the brain also will be in the rest of the body.
      I guess ketogenic diet anlo repairs because fmdrop inflamation and you are persuaded to eat high dense food like organ meats and bone broth and fat.
      Animal fats, it seems, contains stem cells, that maybe can be used by our body.
      In the other hand you can have a look to Benjamin s. Frank and royal Lee and their work in RNA and DNA therapy, in fact MSC looks like glandular therapy where you eat the organ in a liophilized way.
      Dr. Darren Schmidt in UA-cam is big in this.

    So, you would just take your own stem cells and regenerate. What is the need for stem banking, in fact what is the need for blood banking?
    Animals regenerate all the time. And do it without surgery.
