I have this phobia, I'm afraid of ALL feathered animals even chickens, ducks, geese, ostriches ect especially Pigeons, doves, owls and ducks. And it's really hard living with it, I can't even look at a picture of feathered animal with getting triggered. These people are so strong coz I would have died on the spot.
hahahaha I burst out laughing cuz my pigeon I rescued is sitting right next to me and is kissing my hand. You are such a drama queen birds can not hurt you at all.

wow this is so interesting. I myself have a little white dove as a pet and I find it very cute and it is docile and she likes to sit on my shoulder. If you were to watch a cartoon or Disney film with birds in it, would that elicit the same reaction? Perhaps in your childhood you were traumatized while a bird was involved?

I am afraid of birds. I don't know why I'm afraid of birds. My parents will tell me that " they don't cause any harm. So don't be afraid of birds".I can understand that it's correct but still my heart beats fast if I think about birds or see them around me
Phobias like these always intrigued me. The only birds I could ever imagine being scared of are Ostriches, Cassowaries, or a large hyacinth Macaw, not a turkey or a crow or something like that. Phobias that don’t have a natural reason for occurring are very interesting. I mean, I can imagine people being afraid of dogs or cats because in our past humans would get eaten and still are eaten by wolves and lions and mountain Panthers, but harmless animals like birds and mice and bunnies I really don’t understand.
we have pegions on our roof my cousin pet them and my dad got mad at me because i am of birds wtf he is he is afraid of everything except birds and i am afraid of birds except evrything sorry for bad english tho

I have this phobia, and I am literally shaking watching this video. I remember as a kid, we were on holiday and had a picnic on a bench. While we were there about 7 turkeys walked over and I had to straight up leave. I can't even imagine doing what those people did.

Then you will love barn OWLS. They are huge, and they make NO SOUND when they fly due to their specialized predatory feathers that are designed by nature to make absolutely no sound when flying.

Whenever I get close to them, I can't control myself but to cry. Like the anxiety.
I used to touch chicken when I was little, but I don't know why as I grow older I'm so scared of birds of feathers in general. I like birds in arts and paintings with their flying wings, they seem so beautiful and majestic, but when it comes to the real things they are super scary. I thought peacock feather was nice, I bought 10 home for decorating, but never dare to pull them out of the plastic bag, maybe I'll give them away .
hahahaha this is so funny and cute. I can't relate at all, I love birds so much that I grab wild birds and kiss them. I caught a Canada geese that was warning me, like come here little fella and planted a firm kiss on it's crop area and let him go with some grains I had in my car. I also caught cute little pigeons at the park to pet them if they were friendly enough. Lol you are afraid for no reason, its hilarious.

For so many years, I thought I was the only one freaked out by birds. Anything that's large and feathered is my worst nightmare, It's the damn beaks as well. I have no memory of this but apparently when I was like 3, I got attacked by a peacock who wanted my sandwich. Since then, I can not even get close to a bird without having a panic attack. It's why I refuse to eat chips by the seaside because of them damn seagulls, Damn I've seen what they're capable of. My biggest fear is an ostrich, I'd have thousands nightmares getting chased by one. As much as I love animals, I cannot go anywhere near birds without my defence mode kicking in.

I’ve had a bird phobia since the day I was born. People think a bird did something to me as a kid. Nope. A nasty black Bird got into my house, and I thought I was going to jump out of my skin. Paid the neighbor kid $15 bucks to go into my house and get out. Yep. You’ll never cure me. Makes my skin crawl.

I don't have a fear of birds I just have a fear of turkeys, if I was in their position I'd be shitting myself.
I have this phobia, but it depends on what kind of bird it is. Like baby, chicks and ducklings don’t scare me at all and grown ducks don’t scare me but pretty much every other kind of bird does especially birds that can fly and ugly looking turkeys and chickens.
Well I personally can’t relate to the fear of birds, i can relate to them being all panicky, as i have a fear of spiders I would basically be just as scared as them if I came across one.😖

@@jonathandruskus3903 what the heck, that does not make any sense to me as I randomly grab cute birds and kiss them as I just loved the way birds look ever since I was a toddler, my uncle had a peacock that I used to pet as a kid and I think they are pretty cool, i would even plant a kiss on a roosters head or the crop part. They are all so affectionate and cuddly. Turkeys are cool too. Makes no sense why on earth would someone be so afraid of these harmless cuteness.
@@Tdotttttt because in my childhood i had a traumatic encounter with a turkey and even a peacock. Thats how phobias happen u know? They aren't rational and can be very specific. As a child u dont understand most things so it manifests and stays like that until you have a positive interaction with your trauma causer. People being afraid of spiders or insects is just as irrational if u think about it. You were lucky growing up with friendly birds but didnt have the same experience
