Hello everyone, I recently got a Black Sequencer and I can't figure out one thing: when I want to copy a pattern, for example, pattern #1 to pattern #5, and I'm in ch1, the sequencer also copies the patterns from the other channels, meaning pattern #1 from ch2 to #5. It doesn't make sense to me. Where am I going wrong?
That's how it works, but I agree it's not ideal. You can still manually enter all the variations you want on different patterns and channels, but copying and pasting will not do what you are looking for. But you can do this: let's say you are on channel 1 and want to copy a sequence of 16 steps from pattern 1 to pattern 2, without altering channel 2. What you can do is copy/paste the notes and not the pattern, so you press and hold "copy", then press and hold encoder 1 and encoder 16. Now you copied those 16 steps and you can go to pattern 2 and paste them by pressing and holding "paste" and then pressing encoder 1. Channel 2 will not be altered.
Great quick start guide.
It’s such an amazing sequencer. ❤️
Thanks! Yeah, it's very easy to use and dial in all the parameters.
this will be my next sequencer. Thanks dot the shirt and sweet demo
You're welcome!
Very cool overview. I just bought the sequencer recently.
Thanks!
Thank you, Great video, have you slaved this to other units, how is the Clock and the Midi timing for you?
Thanks! To be honest I don't know, I've always used it as a master clock and never tried midi, sorry!
