I heard the recorded version first, and thought "how do you do that in the studio?" and it turns out they recorded it in a way they could do live. As a four-piece. Stunningly cool.
As far as live studio performances go that was world class, and it’s not an easy song to pull off in my opinion as it’s very syncopated and slightly off beat almost in parts. It’s very cleverly constructed.
Nah you're not missing much, they were still in their early days here and Johnathan Higgs still struggles to hold some notes. They're still amazing but some performances can be a drag due to slightly fucked up vocals.
The years 2022 and these boys are still class
Yes 😃

Tragically underrated band. One of the most talented bunch out there right now imo.
This was the first time that I had heard them and I became a fan immediately. Still one of the most important bands of the 21st century.
It’s the same for everyone: the first time you hear this band you say, what have I just heard!? And then your life is forever changed. Long live EE!
saw them at the weekend, even more impressive live. the geezer's voice is unreal
Best band I found this year. This song is just brilliant and the rhythm sounds so african to me, which of course I like. Amazing groove and vocals.
jcrm05 ...I agree it has a South African sound to me.
How refreshing to see an UK indie band that values playing in time. Good stuff.
I love you Everything Everything!!! Real genius!
Recent find for me, and I'm loving them. What a breath of fresh air. This guy's voice control is incredible! I love it!
I love this song, and thought there’s no way they can do this live.
How wrong can you be? This is just perfect.
One of my favorite new bands this year! Their debut album rocks!
The band is so underrated, but I like them!
performance of the night. bloody hell! love it.

Top stuff ! Well rehearsed and to pull all that off live - nice one guys !
GREAT! From Manchester? Isn't lead singer from Northumberland...
I think he grew up in both Newcastle and Carlisle but then moved to Manchester and met the other guys
really nice band, and one of my favourite songs :)
Think they did pretty awesome here considering one of their first times in a tv studio
screamedthemouth .. best artist he’s had on since was Laura Mvula.
Well done guys. You made it.
Karen and Phil xxx
@Dalriada35
The Reading gig over a year ago is still your best in my book. But why do never do Luddites and Lambs live? Superb song.
I love Alex!
Oh I am seeing these guys in two weeks. Whhoooooop!
They are similar to Friendly Fires, but with less percussion than Friendly Fires.
Everything Everything's songs sound good in a live context
Ma nigga I just wanna know
