    This is ABSOLUTELY, BY FAR, the BEST tutorial for a super easy crochet infinity scarf or cowl. I have tried 3 other tutorials before this and this is definitely the easiest to understand and complete. Thank you!

    I learned how to do a single stitch about 3 days ago. I happened to have super bulky yarn and a Q sized needle and made this scarf in just under two hours. I am in love with it! I'm going to make more for my family. Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial. You make it so easy to follow and understand!

      I only got 37 rows out of 1 skein of the Thick n Quick. I made it with Style Craft Chunky that I actually won and it came out beautiful. I’ll have to go buy another skein but it’s worth it. Love this pattern!

    Hello Ashley from Sewrella. I love your channel and I love the work you’re doing. Currently, I am in the process of making quite a few scarves. I am right now have 55 inches on the 70 inch half double crochet infinity scarf. I made it in the Color Made Easy Yarn by Caron in the color Bubblegum or some sort of hot pink color. I love how it’s coming out. You are so patient and we are glad to have you in the crochet community. However, on this current infinity scarf that you are making in black I would like to know how many inches it measures upon completion so I know where to stop.I’m not good with measuring rows so I measure in inches. Please let me know how long I should make my infinity scarf with this particular tutorial. Keep up the good work.👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍😀😀😀😀😀❤️❤️❤️😊😊🥰🥰😍😍💕💕😊

    i am brand spanking new to this but followed ur pattern. i also got the same brand (lion brand yarn wool-ease thick and quick size 6 super bulky)
    i feel like my scarf keeps shrinking, lol. i have almost used 1 whole roll which is 106 yards and i am no where near the length it needs to be. is this normal? how much yarn did you use?
    i also feel like ive been at this for hours and am no where near finished.
    last question is how do i add another roll of yarn in when i finish the one i have if its not long enough.
    thanks in advance.

    Very nice scarf! I do have a question though. Why did you seam it with hdc stitches instead of sc stitches? Doesn't that make the seam more bulky? Love your channel!

    • @Sewrella
      @Sewrella  7 років тому +4

      It does make the seam more bulky, and the only reason I seamed with Hdc was because the entire scarf was Hdc and I didn't want to confuse beginners too much by throwing a different type of stitch in there ;) If you wanted no bulk in the seam use slip stitches!

    hi, after watching you video and making my scarf with you. i went to your site to get pattern and it's not the same as your video.it says end 46 rows and doesn't say how to finish like you did in video.so was getting confused and thought i'd ask.

    • @rachelnimer2481
      @rachelnimer2481 4 роки тому

      I usually make infinity scarves but they’re longer so i can double it up around my neck but having seen this video, wanted to try this version. I followed this video to the T and, after finishing the scarf, was thinking that I would do less rows next time because it didn’t seem to fall right on me. So, after reading what you said about 46 rows, decided that would be better than the 52 I have now. Another thought is to wash it first then make the final decision because I usually wash them to see if anything has comes loose before I give them as gifts. Maybe there’ll be some shrinkage. Anyway that’s my plans but after hearing what you said about there being less rows, I’ll definitely try it.

  • @andreasperaw7637
    @andreasperaw7637 6 років тому +1

    Beginner question here: I can't seem to do an accurate count of my rows so I"m wondering if someone can tell me the length of their finished scarf? That size is what I'll aim for. Thanks!

  • @purifiedbride6038
    @purifiedbride6038 6 років тому

    I am a complete beginner and bought yarn and two different size needles. Which was probably a bad idea cause I can't find any beginner project with the yarn and size hooks I have. I have a chunky yarn 109yards. I figured I would try this even though you have different materials and plus it is more practice for me. now I don't know if ill be able to get 52 rows in, looks like I will probably have to unravel it all because it seems like I don't have enough yarn. I was first going to try to make fingerless gloves, then work my way up to a blanket eventually. However all the fingerless glove tutorials were confusing me. this pattern is simple for me to start, so I may try to finish it and see what it looks like, it just may be a shorter scarf.

    • @lacyhorton890
      @lacyhorton890 5 років тому

      You can always add another skein of yarn. Also, is your yarn bulky? Is your hook bigger than hers? I definitely recommend you wait to make fingerless gloves, they are tough. Blankets are easier but take a little long to make... Scarves make the perfect beginner project. Don't unravel, just add more and keep on hooking :)

    • @K8DU
      @K8DU 3 роки тому +1

      Hi! Originally you chain 15 for the foundation row but then on the next row you backtrack over the foundation row and start your next row at the third one from the end. So because you backtracked, the extra two stitches (numbers 14 and 15 in your foundation row) now are on the side instead of the bottom of the scarf. They are the equivalent to the “chain 2” that we do at the end of every row throughout the pattern. I hope I haven’t confused you. ❤️
