Could you please respond. I want these lights but need to know about the third light
Overall a clear & straightforward explanation. Two questions/comments:
1. One thing that your video appears to omit is disconnecting the connector at the tail light assy itself. If your replacement lights come with the grommet installed on the harness included with the lights, this step is not needed. If you do NOT supply a replacement grommet, this step needs to be covered.
2. What is this "3rd light" that I see refereed to in other videos? Is this applicable to these replacement lights?

Much more of a simple install than other brands trying to do this, making it much more complicated than it needs to be
I completely agree - though the reason is that others are possible to program with different modes of your preferences. That's why I ordered the "complicated" ones rather than this

There will be a tinted version at some point, currently they are on hold thanks to coronavirus

The only euro thing I want on the Mustang is the 2018-2020 front turn signals/side markers with that sweet accent strip that shuts the amber off. If I could, I'd post a picture I have saved on my computer.

No! These are sealed units. No bulbs these have LED's on circuit boards.
i want them so bad but i actually enjoy the amber color thats half the reason i want them so at night and day time you look different from everybody else im torn on these

Hi guys! I will be taking my mustang back to Europe after I finish my visa in the US. I have a question - does your euro-style lights are compliant with EU requirements? In other words, can I mod my car here, and I will not have to change lights in Europe to drive there?

Yes it matches perfectly on my 2016.
What color do they reflect at night when they are off? White reflectors instead of red on the rear seem stupid to me.
In the UK we'd prefer the red lights over the clear to be honest

It was an older video I didn't realize we took down. You remove the two covers off the floor to show the bolts. Remove the bolts from the floor and one front bracket and it can come out.
No 18-20 style, no amber, no built in sequencer options? I think the aftermarket options make more sense. Would like to see CJ’s get the S550 euros from VLand. Would be an instant buy for me.
Nathan upsides are the additional options from Vland... downside is the additional wire you have to run to make them work properly...

Amber lights, multiple sequence modes and the newer 18-19 style. You can look on UA-cam and find tons of videos of them.

Bought the smoked ones in November of 21 and the coating has started to peel off, gonna contact CJ's this week, has anyone else had this problem?
Eh its a 20 dollar fix, just buy the tail light tint on AM and get the coating off and put that on

He doesn't say it in this video but 2 other installs for these type of taillights say you must wire to the 3rd brake light. Is that true with all of the brands of the euro lights? Anyone?
These are plug and play, no additional wiring is needed.

Can you piggy back the brake light sequencer on these to make the light sequence when the brake is applied?
Diode Dynamics makes a sequencer that can do this. You can also find it on CJPony website by simply searching for "Sequencer"

When will a company makes either a smoked tail light cover or just smokes tail lights all together for the 2018's and up i have the black accent package and tinted all my windows, and lights but the tint shop wouldn't touch the tail lights because they said they cant guarantee it wont peal because of the shape of the lights i want the total blackout and they bight ass red tail lights are really taking away from that look

The shop i took it to said they wouldnt dare tint it because of the shapes of the lights so they just spray tinted it

This is not the 2018+ style euro tail lights. Sure it can fit but it’s a little misleading considering technically it’s not the proper style for the 18+ S550.
They fit 15-20 which is why they are labeled that way, they clearly are the15-17 style. I prefer the 18+ personally but some people do like these better.

Taillights in the states are red not clear.
They are red when the brakes are applied.

I had a Sonata before I got my s550 GT you're not wrong about that but I have to agree with the majority I like the tailights of the 15-17 better however the front lights which I thought were ugly are starting to grow on me...

These aren't euro spec. In Europe they require amber blinkers which these don't have. Not really seeing the point in this product at all.
