    I'm moving to Washington soon, it's awesome out there. I love the 737-900 especially in the Alaska airlines livery!

    I love that you filmed the extended climb out. These vids are too often cut short just a minute or two after takeoff. Keep up the good work!

    Thank you for sharing this. My daughter and I have never flown. She is 29 and has Down Syndrome. I have been trying to find as many different videos as I can to prepare her for the experience.

    One of the last views of the original North Satellite terminal, now completely torn down and remodeled.

    I'm planning on plane spotting here at LAS with my iPhone video camera hopefully next weekend or so.

    Oh that is a little freaky. Watching this video after your PDX - SEA flight video (landing segment) it looks like you instantly jumped over to the aircraft on the left side that was pushing back when your arriving PDX - SEA flight came into the gate.

      It does look like that. And to add to the confusion that is the sister to the plane I was on for PDX-SEA (I was on N527AS and this plane pulling in is N526AS). But I had a few hour layover in SEA. Thanks! :)

    So you got off the other plane with the scimitar winglet and went in the next gate?

    It looks like the plane is barely moving yet you are at your destination before you know it.

      For fun. Thanks! :)

      They might've been behind schedule, maybe not. It could've been their last leg of the day and pilots will generally expedite the flight as much as possible. Some just taxi faster than others. Max allowable taxi speed is 30 knots so they can taxi however fast they want (of course within realms of faa regulations).

    • @planesguy
      @planesguy  9 років тому

      I'm guessing it was not their last leg as it was still in the AM when we departed. And we were running a little early that morning. So who knows?

    • @abasdarwiche799
      @abasdarwiche799 9 років тому

      Well the airplane has to get there before any other airplane so it could get to its destination on time

    • @tyredcar03
      @tyredcar03 9 років тому

      +Hans Westly the plane has to be going at least 75 mph before it can achieve lift
