I just use velcro straps to the front handle and slide the stick through the leading edge handle. More recently, I'm using a 360cam with a wrist strapped tucked into the end of the boom. When you inflate the wing it locks it in. -Tucker
The next video addresses that a bit. ua-cam.com/video/Cfen18_0MSg/v-deo.html Basically, the stiffer wing allows for better power transfer which results in better pumping, more forward pull per meter, wider range of wind speeds, and upwind efficiency. In addition to that it allows them to make the bladders a smaller diameter which reduces drag, increases speed & apparent wind. Yes, I do find I get a better low end from these wings. I'm on a 5m when I'd normally be on a 6m. I can also hold it down in higher winds better than I can with most traditional construction wings. -Tucker
Hi Tucker, For light wind, how does the OR A-wing 6m compare to the Strike CWC 6m? Also weight and wingspan? I know the OR is the ultimate wing, but that €1000 extra is still holding me back a little. Cheers, Coen
The biggest difference between those two is the "type" of power, the stiffness, and the weight. They will both get you up and riding at about the same wind speed. The CWC has more "lift" so it can be helpful if you are riding a small board/foil or haven't figured out the art of pumping to make board speed. The Glide wing design makes more forward pull which results in better apparent wind generation and board speed. Also a higher wind range because of how it can translate gusts into forward momentum rather than lift. Obviously, it's about half the weight too which is nice, especially if you are luffing the wing while surfing downwind. You can't go wrong with either but there are reasons to choose each. -Tucker
Hi Thoxipe, Loving the 2022 Sky wing 75L. Huge improvement over the 2021 model IMHO. I'm 195lbs and the 75L is a great "do it all" size. It's a bit small for those 10-13kn days but excellent for anything more than 14kn with an appropriate foil and wing. The new shape is super efficient and stable for the size so I think most people will size down compared to other models. -Tucker

A dacron patch will not hold up but the Wings include a patch kit for both the Ripstop and Aluula materials. I'd suggest using a larger than normal patch due to the higher stress. -Tucker
Will you be Reviewing the new slingshot phantasm wing foil? I have that foil and use it with moses W950 and would like to get smaller wing, and my next question is will the wing itself be for sales separately? I see you have the whole set up for sale already. Thanks
hey Thomas, yes I'm in the midst of filming the 926 review now. It's Phantastic. LOL Yes, the 926 front wings will be $609 and available a-la-carte but not quite yet. My best guess for that is late Oct- Early Nov for most of their current models. -Tucker
Hey Tom, I filmed this all in one shot but it ended up being like 40 min. Because of that, we thought it was best to break it into 3 separate vids. They do have the same intro so you can skip to about 1:18 to get to the good stuff :) -Tucker

Hands down the best wing/foil reviews on the planet ..thanksTucker - Honestly if i lived in the US, this is where i would spend all my cash!
Much appreciated Northy! I'll do my best to live up to that expectation but I'm sure i'll fall short on occasion. Feel free to call me out ;)

Extremely stiff, feather light, and powerful. My favorite wing. 5M Full aluula is amazing.
My experience as well. So fast, so little drag and everything about that wing is super intuitive.

Great video Review but i have an off topic question. would you mind sharing how you attach the selfie stick to the wing?
I just use velcro straps to the front handle and slide the stick through the leading edge handle. More recently, I'm using a 360cam with a wrist strapped tucked into the end of the boom. When you inflate the wing it locks it in. -Tucker
@@MACkiteboarding thank you for the reply.
Hi Tucker, what specific advantages does one have with a stiffer wing? For example, is it better upwind, can you pump up in lighter winds, etc?

How are you liking the 2022 sky wing? What size are you riding/your weight? What’s the minimum size for you to slog for long periods of time?

Hi Tucker, what about the performance of the Aluula Wing?
The review and a versus video are uploading right now my friend! - Rygo

One quesion - any thoughts on how you can repair the Aluula wings - would a dacron patch work/stick under the higher PSI if you got a hole?

@@MACkiteboarding that is awesome!! I'll order it from you once I see it available on your website, or is there a way to be notified?
@@tomasgulas give me an email at Tucker@mackite.com I can set you up with a pre-order now

How do you rate the appleslice board and which one were you on?
Tucker what pressure do you pump up front tube to?
High.... LOL. OR recommends something like 8psi but I tend to go higher than that. 10-12PSI is typical for me.
