The way to shut up the haters is to keep winning!!! Hopefully, the injury bug spares us this season 🙏 We have never won a Superbowl. We have had opportunities but have always come up short. Let's see how we do against Detroit? Big test!!!
Yea Detroit looked deadly vs Seattle. Goff went like 18/18 with 200 yards and 2 TDs. First time in NFL history somebody did that. I don't know how their defense stacks up but they can definitely put points up. That's gonna be a huge test. And if I had to guess, we'll most likely be going thru them at some point in the playoffs.

They have disappointed me too many times. It’s hard to get too excited, but I hope I’m wrong. The straw that broke the camel’s back was 1998 against the Falcons, the nfc championship game. By far the most I’ve ever been disappointed.
You have to treat every year as a fresh start. Can't dwell on how long it takes. Winning the Superbowl is one of the hardest things to do in sports. Plenty of teams that haven't lifted the trophy yet.
@@williamshields2312 being a 50 year fan you should also know the viking have one of the better win loss records in the NFL. That they have only missed the playoffs in back to back seasons twice. That's damn good football.
This saying "It's better to keep quiet and be thought a fool than to speak aloud and erase all doubt" couldn't be more appropriate for Nick Wright. The problem with a lot of these "media experts" is that they make their analysis based on the past. The NFL is a "what have you done for me lately" league so it doesn't matter what you did last season or the past 3-4 seasons it's what are you doing this season.
I didn’t even know who Nick Wright was till a couple months ago…he seems like an a guy who is the type to just make controversial and unsubstantiated takes…he is a nobody outside the Kansas market…the fact that the tier above the Vikes ALL have been beat by the Vikes makes everyone question his objectivity…the Vikings are DEFINITELY in a tier above all 3 of them…how do we know…because we just beat ALL of them commandingly. Getting to the point where I don’t click on or turn off the media when I see Nick.
Someone made a good point…If someone had never watched a single NFL game prior to this year but watched every game this year…one could almost guarantee they would place MN as the best team…and it wouldn’t even be close. That is without even knowing previous history of the teams and difficulty of the schedule…that kind of made me look at the Vikes a little different so far
Saw that and discounted his power rankings as ludicrous. Heck, if the Vikings went all the way and won the Super Bowl he would still rank the Vikings 8 or so. Therefore I would through out any rankings posted by him as irrelevant. Get your rankings elsewhere. His widow peaks are trying to tell him where the Vikings rank.
Yessir! Been seeing this all year. Nick is super smart but has an agenda for the Vikings because of the lack of past success. Why is he incorporating thoughts 4 months down the road in a weekly power ranking? Is he trolling? It changes from week to week, depending on how they play that week. Next week it changes again. When the future comes, then you make that list, not pre-emptively. It sounds more like he's ignorant of what power ranking are.
I don't know how you or anyone can watch Nick Wright and think anything other than he's a clown. He doesn't watch tape, he doesn't watch the games, MAYBE he watches highlight reels, maybe but I doubt it. He looks at box scores, and his takes are based on narratives and getting engagement. Just keep in mind his preseason take on the NFC North was the Bears were going to the Super Bowl, the Lions were going to fall off to be 9 win team, the packers were and 8 win team and Vikings in the basement with 4-5 wins. He looked at the NFC North at the end of preseason and somehow this is what his brain came up with.
5:51 I have to say the Chiefs coaching staff is number 1. They’ve proven it more than one time. Number 2 I have to go with the Lions coaching staff. Dan Canbell is great, Ben Johnson OC and Aaron Glenn at DC. I have no opinions on 3 and on.
5:15 They seem to have a really good team but it goes back to what I said earlier. Is Sam Darnold able to make the high pressure completions in a hostile environment when the stakes are high? That’s literally the only question myself and every other NFL Analyst that isn’t a die hard Vikings fan have. I’m wishing them the best of luck. It’s nice to see an underdog like Sam Darnold lead a team the way he’s done thus far.
3:14 The Bengals literally have no run defense. In today’s NFL, that is worse than having a bad pass defense. Run offense opens the door for pass opportunities.Defenses have to play up to respect the run, then they get hit with a 20 plus yard pass as a result. Moral of the story is, have a good run defense.
Who cares what Nick Wright thinks😂 . He is fun to listen to in small doses but yeah he is a huge Chiefs and Mahomes guy everyone else does not cut it . The Vikings need to get to and WIN a Super Bowl to shed all the disrespect and past failures IMHO. Hope they do looks like a chance this year but its a long season and one game at a time. Hope they make a new SB narrative this year.
2:43 The single reason that a lot of these sports “experts” aren’t ranking the Vikings on the level In which the Viking fan base doesn’t feel disrespected, is simply because of this question they ponder. Is Sam Darnold capable of making the big plays when it matters? Here’s an example, it’s 4th and goal on the 10 yard line, Vikings down 6 on the road in a hostile environment. If he gets throws the TD, the Vikings are heading to the playoffs. If he doesn’t make the play, their season is over. Now I myself think that the Vikings have proved that they deserve to be undefeated after 4 games but I also ask myself that same question about Darnold. The Vikings aren’t yet battle tested as a team thus far and that’s because they have jumped out and grabbed leads on teams early at no fault of their own. If they can do that every game this season, they obviously don’t have to be battled tested. Let’s be realistic though, it’s not likely they will never have to comeback from a 10 point deficit. Darnold has yet to prove that he can make the big time plays in big time moments because he hasn’t gotten the opportunity. So, this is my opinion of why these football analysts haven’t put the Vikings in those top 3 categories thus far. Any opinions to add to this or to disprove it are welcomed.
4:25 You just contradicted yourself, you said that you can’t base your rankings off of preseason expectations, then you follow it with justifying the Vikings strength of schedule by their success from last season. I’m not hating at all but you can’t have it both ways my friend.
