Nice. For the cost, I'd cut up different tires and epoxy a new layer of tread round the tweels when they wear out. Saw a video of machines doing it.. was kinda hypnotic
I have a 2019 Z3X 61" + 52" and 2024 Z3X 60". I have used them on all of them. The biggest difference is on the 52". I would run them on every mower if I could afford 2 more sets.
@@HandyGuy2016 Thank you. I am looking at getting a Ferris ISX2200 for very undulating terrain. Is there any difference in the weight of a tweel compared to what it replaces?
@@shanepipkin4041 go horizontal on 30degree hill and you’ll instantly notice the difference. Your mower will no longer want to slide out from under you. But to each is own, my experience is their not even a comparison.
Thanks for sharing 😎👍
Great video
Gonna see how they wok out for you. Will definitely have to replace tires on one of my Z3’s next year. Strongly considering them though.

Did you notice a big difference on the ferris? What model Ferrus did you put them on?

I'm wanting to get some of those for my Bradley's, but I'm like you I want to know how long they last and if they are worth what they are asking for.
That is part of the reason I went ahead and purchased them, so I could see for myself and pass the info on to everyone else.
and now altoz mowers have tracks not wheels or tweels.
any update on how long these last?
Over 1000 hours so far
So you have twills on your Ferris
Just started running them a few weeks ago.
yes i have noticed that too - my tractus tires on my exmark really dig in if im not careful
We have noticed that as long as you use proper technique when making turns, they don't damage the turf.
I just subscribed btw.
@@HandyGuy2016 thanks man
tweels are rougher riding and rut worse on my 930
A buddy of mine has 3 JD930's and he loves them. I have had really good results with them on my Z3X mowers.
overrated
@@shanepipkin4041 mine crush hills for lunch, traction can’t compare to regular tires
not on mine my versa turfs do way better in every category except maybe flats but haven't had one I tried them both out before buying
