I’ve had mine for just about a month and love everything about it. We had the same issue in the front seat with the dog. Gonna have to address that with something. Great review!
I'm curious if you couldn't buy parts from a 1000-5 front seat section and modify to the 6 seater or try something like a pool noodle with support. If you come up with a good solution please comment or post a video.
🏆🤗🙏🇺🇲 I have a 2020 1000-5 LE . I really like the Fox QS3 adjustable shocks. On the I-4WD, I've got videos in the mud and hill climbing where both front wheels are constantly pulling and not only one. It's great for me, after a stroke, I drive with one hand and love the reduced steering effort, especially around corners at speed. Thank you for sharing
I wish Honda would do like some auto manufactures and have both a multi terrain select (i4wd)and selectable lockers. Both are useful tools depending on the task at hand. Some sections I've preferred and enjoyed i4wd over fighting a locker and some spots I prefer the locker. I waited for the Talon R 4seater release before picking my full send it machine with big tires hoping Honda would do just this 🥲.
The 2022 and up are superior to previous models by a huge amount. The frame and front a arms are much stronger, more HP, lower gearing, lower reverse, better cooling, and so much more.
We did that in Moab when he ran out of gas😅 This trip was over 300 miles loop from Colorado to Maob, so we were trying to minimize wear on Plastics or the roof. Hitch started popping off the ball on the way back, luckily, no serious damage, or lost the bike. ua-cam.com/users/shortsY2NMRZDmHK8?si=xqAqu2Wr3RNLWtU9
Honda still 15 yrs behind the others on accessories. I love my 18 Special Edition but Honda still doesn't have a good quality tip up windshield. The heater sucks. No way to attach accessories to the bed. I could go on but pretty sure if I buy new it will have a belt.
Honda quality and reliability wise will probably outlast any belt Machine by a long time, but they could definitely improve their cab and accessory line. I ended up making my own heater cause I didn't like the factory setup. An HVAC model would probably be a ranger killer sales wise.
Bought the 2024 Pioneer 1000 6..had dealership change out wheels to stock steel wheels...didn't care Abt the aluminum wheel....I want it all old fashion Honda all steel parts.....other than change, love the ride.. ready for grandbabies....don't ride in deep mud like an idiot, but ya know some ppl like blowing mom n dads money I guess...not me.....cheers from Arkansas
I’m getting ready to buy a 2016 1000 model does it have updated clutch? I hear you say the tenn models have the update, also what did the clutch upgrade do?… overall is the 2016 yr model a good model to buy? I’m getting it for a pretty good price
18s have updated clutches from the factory. 16 & 17s may have updated clutches with the recall. Something to check and consider . I wouldn't rule it out on use, price, or what is important for you in a machine.
@@buckssenditinfochannel5263 thanks! I’m picking mine up on Friday buying a used one because the new ones are way out of my affordability. I’m planning to do some moderate trail riding. What was the bracket that you put on the A-arm to help support it?
@bruce9063 Go to Honda Pioneer 1000 riders on facebook. Tonya Canby is the seller. I liked their design better most others I saw were slotted, and theirs are solid with drilled holes. Slotted has more room to flex, which they do for slightly easier install. Worst case, you could slightly drill out the hole if needed ( I didn't) and still have a much stronger braket.
What is the wheel and tire set up at the end of the video

Before I'd pay close to new for a used one, I'd suggest the newer 1s for the updates.
Good review man. You need to find a way to slap the bike in the back or on the roof or both👍

Good luck with that.
Honda 30 yrs from now will be in one piece....all others in scrap heap somewhere 😅
