For anybody watching this in the future . I've read a ton of forums and this seems to be an extremely common "issue". The first thing to ask yourself, do you have an aftermarket exhaust? Did you update your tune for that exhaust? If no to both -- play with idle screw. If that doesnt work then you can try replacing all the stuff people suggest (which gets mixed review as far as if it fixed the issue) or just accept that it bounces
I'm replacing my spark plugs this weekend and HOPING that my coils are fine and just need to be snugged into place. I'm checking them with a multimeter however to see if they need replacing.
Mine sounds the same kinda and breaks up around 10k rpm won’t even go over 100 and then just dies out might think it’s a coil now and it floods a cylinder and won’t start back up etc I can only go about 2-3 miles and it dies out
@@LegendaryBurnout well I’ve been told it’s most likely the ignition coils so I took it apart to find 3 of the same ignition coils with the 4th one being different. I haven’t really had too much time to look into it much more but i just started it up yesterday and it seems to have cleared up but I don’t want to take any chances. I found a full set of ignition coils and plugs I believe come with it for relatively cheap if you’d like the link
@@LegendaryBurnout also since you are down there consider replacing your air filter or cleaning it out if it’s a K&N one. If not I have the link to that one too! It runs about 50 on Amazon which was the cheapest I could find
@@codyfirst1370 awesome thanks bro I was freaking out because I thought I may have potentially blew my motor, hopefully that’s still not the case. But yea I just did an air filter and coils no less than 2k miles ago so they could be faulty or the spark plugs could be bad.
If anybody still has this problem after changing and checking everything(spark plugs, ig. Coils etc) then fuel injectors/carbys need to be professionally cleaned. Injector cleaner in your fuel doesnt do the trick if its caked and blocked.
Instead of that really responsive torque from throttle it’s boggy sounds like a Harley is the best way I can think of describing and not a rocket with the consistent sound of a rocket
@@simonlopez83 Ignition coils fixed it for me. You can let the exhaust pipes (cold) warm up and spray some water on them while warming up. If any of the pipes give less water evaporation than others, those are the cylinders that need a new ignition coil. They're not very expensive.
@@TheKniperlight awesome! Thanks for the info. I actually have gone as far as removing the fuel pump and disassembling it to clean it, as well as removing the injectors and it didn’t fix the issue. I’m almost sure it’s the coil packs at this point
Thanks for you info man, i had the exact same issue. I pressed the coil hard down and now it is fixed👌🏻

My bike misfire at low rpm...and morning start need 2-3 try...is this ignition coil problem?
I’m having Same problem 05 r6 what should I do
What's the code mine are P0202 and P0204 injector 2 and 4
Yea my bike doing the same thing I guess it’s my plugs too as well
I thought I had a blown head I’ve been pissed of for almost a month

Do you fix your problem bro?
Ninja Boy Channel sold bike but it was spark plugs changed wires also
Mine is sounding like a 300 all the way to redline
Did you ever figure out the issue cuz that’s what mine sounds like and I think I blew my motor until I saw this video

I am having the same problem with my 2009 r6
What do you mean bro miss firing at alow rpm, what does it feels like? You can't move up your speed at higher rpms?
Instead of that really responsive torque from throttle it’s boggy sounds like a Harley is the best way I can think of describing and not a rocket with the consistent sound of a rocket
@@juddwilson6919 exactly, the Harley sound is identical, btw my new bike makes the same thing but only like a pop on low rpms
Most of the times it’s not the plugs!! Good place to start tho usually it’s coils
Ignition coils bro
What phone mount are you using?
I'm using a RAM mount
thanks i also installed new plugs
What did u do pls !
Does the sputtering smooth out after a certain rpm?
It did yes, the misfiring was only at low RPM
Mine does, and I have the same issue as you. Rough on low RPM, smooth after 4-8k RPM. Even after replacing spark plugs with OEM. Please help

Did you solve the problem?
Yes, it's also in the description ;)
i dont hear anything wrong
yes correct or either coil pack problem. i just change to racing ignition coil no problem.
