So he's singing a medley. The way he's merging every song is just magical. It's not easy to do that and the way Arijit is doing it, makes it seem so simple. That's whats getting the audience all charged up.

What seems like vibrato are similar to trills in Western classical world(known as 'murkee' in Hindustani classical music). That is like freely moving within the scale (improvising with the notes in correspondence with the mood).

Most of the singers have learnt Hindustani Classical music for 15 to 20 years. We sing the pure notes and micro notes which the western musicians can’t understand or sing. I just saw your video. Others have made this point too--this is a rapid-fire medley of short riffs from his popular hits performed by one of the top Bollywood singers of today. The camera is resting on Bollywood stars and pretty faces in the audience. In that short video, he went through 20+ songs. People were enjoying how he was mashing up the songs in the medley. This was an "unplugged" version of the songs. The real versions put out have quite complex music arrangements. I personally feel he has reached the top very quickly because of his perfect pitch!
