I began playing 8 months ago just got to level 80 yesterday saw that it was the 10th anniversary and there were new codes but didn't read about the OP 10 part before I put the codes in and what I found was oddly strange. I got a double unkempt OP 10 but the other 3 guns are not OP so I kinda feel like I waisted the codes XD Oh well the other 3 can help me till I get to OP 3-4 then I'll have to refarm them a few times and farm then once I get to OP 10. As for the unkempt I plan to put in on Gage or Axton to hold. I've gotten all characters to TVHM so I can give each character gear to hold for when I eventually play with them. For gage, Axton and Krieg I did start on level 30 but the others I all began level 1 and they are all over level 40. Krieg is level 46 and Zero and whatever the Gunzerkers name is are both around level 42. Maya is my only level 80 character but I've been collecting gear for my other characters to make getting them to level 80 easier. Since I don't think I will ever play Gage or Axton to level 80 they are my weapons and gear stashs so that's where I plan to keep my OP10 Unkempt for the time. Idk how long getting to OP 10 takes but my plan was to beat every DLC and level 80 side quest before I restart the game and play through it on OP1 gathering gear then begin to work on getting to OP 4 or 5. Idk if you can or should do all the OP levels before replaying the game or if you should play it between each or instead play it again once around OP 5 or 6. Idk if maybe it's best between to farm the snowman and some other mini/raid bosses in-between OP levels since I've never gotten to this point and didn't pay attention to streamers/UA-camrs who've grinded the OP levels if it's best to just do them all at once or what to do.
