It is such a great idea to start now for your portfolio! Taking a bit of time weekly or even monthly makes the end of year assessments so much easier to deal with! It's great that you can get a fun back to school bag as well!
I’ve started next year’s portfolio as it’s going to be our 1st year!!! I remember at college I was told not to study at the end of the year but to study through out the year!!! I prefer PDF curriculum!!! We are living with another homeschool family so if we don’t use something they might!!!
Hey fri be!! I have the smaller Amazon cart also and it drives me crazy that I can’t put the books upright in the middle and bottom shelf. I definitely need to get a bigger one also. Love the math manipulative box!🤗 great haul💖

Have you started All About Reading yet? I am curious how it is going. Considering trying it t for my first grader as I am not happy with what we are currently using. What size binder did you store the activity pages in?
@@beachgurl788 I started AAR for the first week and it was still a struggle, so I switched to Logic of English foundation A with the puppet ziggy zebra since that’s my kids favourite part. He’s still struggling with blending but I think it’s helping him. We shall see. I bought the 2” binder but didn’t add all the activities in it since we were still finishing the pre-reading. I hope this helps. 😉

Actually the program I am currently using is not bad and actually good just different so trying to decide if I can stick with it because it seems to be good! It’s called Happy Cheetah and it’s designed for all kids but uses a different approach that works well for struggling kids I was told.
I tried responding earlier and Idk what happened to it! Just a couple ideas! The Good and The Beautiful has a free app with a couple great videos on blending in the KPrep and K level LA. Also the program I am currently using is actually really good and even though I said earlier I wasn’t super happy with it it’s only because it’s a different approach to what I am used to but might stick with it a bit longer as it is a very good program! It’s called Happy Cheetah if you want to look into it. It can be used for all kids but was especially made for struggling readers! Just some ideas!🫶
