A Vekoma Boomerang model. Relocated from the closed American Adventure theme park UK where it was known as 'Missile'. The region's biggest roller coaster. Height limit 1.3m. Riders are taken backwards 34m in the air, and then released to reach speeds of up to 50mph. After going through 3 inversions, the process repeats in reverse.

Sadly now the last vekoma boomerang in the UK, with pleasure island theme park closed down and their boomerang is off to Asia.
I love this ride
It's so fun
It looks scary if you have never been on it but it's not scary at all
Didn't it used to be called The Coca Cola Coaster in some festival in Glasgow in 1988? Not sure but type it into Google or UA-cam.
elsie mcewan That's right! It operated for just one year the Glasgow Garden Festival in 1988....hardly a new coaster then! - rcdb.com/2873.htm# ;)
Also looks the same as the missile at the old american adventure theme park.
It's the very same coaster! It's travelled around the UK a bit, having been relocated twice!
Lol I can remember going on this as a kid many years ago.
But it's the train of Six Flaks Holland/Walibi Holland (La Via Volta).
