- Welcome to my Homebrewing journey! In today's video, I show off the Northern Brewer "Master Vintner Small Batch Wine" starter kit and run through the entire brew process. This was a few month process, but it is all there in this video!
This kit from Northern Brewer comes with everything you need to get started on your small batch wine brewing journey, and includes one of three possible starter wines (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay or Pinot Noir).

Thanks for posting this video. I've watched it twice, now. After the first time, I went online and ordered the Master Vintner Small Batch Wine Starter Kit (Merlot). I've also been doing a bit of reading and listening to podcasts on wine-making. I have my kit, now, and hope to start it in the next week or two. Your video was fun to watch, especially the bloopers, and I was impressed that you wore white shirts a couple of times and managed not to get anything on them. After watching again, I have decided to order a good corker. I gave a horrified laugh when you brought out the hammer towards the end. Good work and cheers!

Hey! Great video. Just curious I wanted to also start brewing 1-gallon batches of beer. All of this (minus bottle caps & recipe kit) should be good enough to brew 1-gallon batch correct?
The bentonite is just to clear wine
Do they sell the juice in small packs outside of the kit?
Enjoyed the video. How did you get the wine thief into the secondary fermenter to do the readings? You said it didn't fit.
Great video, a LOT of help. White shirt and wine? You got guys. I nearly went into respiratory arrest from laughing when you got the hammer out for the cork. LMAO! You also made me pucker balancing a gallon of wine on that container while holding that hose. I'd of dump the hell out of it. I can't wait to start my first batch. (I'll use a rubber hammer, glass doesn't ferment well). Thanks again!

U NEED PRACTICE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ALCOHOL CONTENT PLUS WHAT THE PACKS DO!
Why all this sanitizing when the big jar is just sitting there wide open to all kinds of airborne contaminants.
So basically we are just drinking chemicals and not wine 🤔 I wonder how wine used to be made without all those chemicals???
