- My thoughts on the jerry curl is that, it’s very comfortable and soft, it requires to be wet for the curls to activate, it’s healthy but it can make your hair unhealthy when you’re repeating the treatment constantly, nevertheless, it’s the best thing that has ever happened to my hair, because I use to have very thick hair that I can’t comb, but now I can comb my hair freely.
The most amazing thing about the jerry curl is that, you can have it wet and curly and also dry as Afro, you can style it as you want, so I totally recommend you do it.
NOTE: it only works on natural hair

Honey...this man was doing your hair so wrong. In the beginning he should of been wearing latex gloves. As far as the rolling part...he should of used end papers to create a very smooth curl and it would of saved the ends of your hair from frizzyness. As he was removing your perm rods he was cutting off the "fish hooks/ crimped/ frizzy ends from improper rolling of the hair. I wouldn't have paid him a penny. Hi Stella Cantu Curling creme and the curl activator isn't bad. They have two types of activators. 1 is the shea butter activator or the original one. Then they got the avocado 🥑 curl activator. They are inexpensive. And good. Also you may like leisure curl which is a product that has a line of products and also their product starts with using curling rods like you used. Canto products you don't need rods (curlers) for. Good luck sister.
You only need to put chemicals on your hair every 4 months. Wash your hair once a week. Moisturize only when it feels dry. Only wet your hair ( just a little water on your hands, dont soak) when you feel it is really dry. I use these products

My daughter and I did this curls today and the stylist said we should carry the rollers to sleep then remove it tomorrow morning and do the washing and setting.
I hate when they cut my hair without asking but youre so pretty 🥰
