she's distinct! she knows how to bring Africans together, can u imagine an artiste trying all languages to bring all in unity😍..I love Yemi Alade! End of story😘
+Lawlahdey very true, we should unite rather than divide though we have many differences; we are still one Africa, that way we can build the Continent and make it a better place.
MoRenny thank u my sister, this song means a lot and has gone a long way.
fact she has done it very well then everyone can listen to this 👌👌👏👏👏👏

+Demmanar ras Yeah copying Americans, like that Davido song where they cook cocaine and try to make It cool!!!
Shibli Mkali I see what you mean but the Davido song in question was kind mocking that life style as what that "cocaine" was actually mill meal or casava paste-don't know what nigerian fam use
I'm an Indian and I must say that Swahili is a very sweet language

Yemi Alade officially my favorite Nigerian artist, that Swahili sounds so native.
Keep making good music.
Why is she not your favorite African artiste, why stop at Nigeria..
+chris maloney Coz I have other favorite artists from other African countries as well.. I listen to all kinds of African music from East,West, Central to South Africa, for Nigeria she's my number one.

I am Indian. I am in love with this song. I feel like I should perform this song in one the Indian Cultural event in Congo
You should my darling.. Yesterday at our company I performed the raatan lambiyaan song... That was the most fulfilling feeling ever
Hindi / Sanskrit is very part and in many ways encompassed in Swahili culture and language..you are African by that ancient connection. I'd be thrilled to see the Indian cultural event 🙏🏾
I love 😍
Hi
This song is well received in Tanzania.
In churches and streets, you will always hear this song.
Big up madam for bringing Africa together!

Gracious Mutemi thanx
Recently, the African Union has adopted Kiswahili as its official language.
I'm Nigerian and I think I prefer this Swahili version to the Nigerian version although I don't understand virtually the whole song....good work Yemi we are proud of you

She is saying, even though you get something or fail to get it ( I think she means daily bread) just say thank you for He is God. It's a thanks giving song. Blessings.
She is singing in Swahili... spoken mostly in East Africa... even though she's West African and Swahili isn't really spoken there.
Much Love to you💕From Kenya

Proud of my language always .......Big up to all swahili speakers..........Wou uuuuuh baba asante......🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿
I love my people, my language...my heritage. Proud to be Kenyan....Honoured to be African
Kiswahili could have been the official language of Africa, NOT English or French, if people like Kwame Nkrumah and Patrice Lumumba had their way of United States of Africa dream. Imagine how proud and prosperous Africans would have been. You can travel from Kenya to a village in Nigeria or Congo and people will understand each other without speaking a European language!
it's better that african singers make their songs in English or swahili as the latter are spoken by millions of people in africa 👍👍
Preach!!!!!
It will one day
Wow! Awesome.....although Swahili _is_ a mixture of Arabic, English, Portuguese and Bantu languages....so maybe a good reflection of united countries speaking one language? I dunno...
Exactly swahili should be taught in all schools across Africa so that we can all understand each other.....
This lady is singing in a better Swahili accent than most Kenyans~ LooooL
Awesome true that

Its becoz you understand.
5 years on and I'm still jamming this, my repeat button is damaged but I don't mind! Now I see why the rest of Africans envy Nigerian artistes; Nigerian artistes put in the work, you have to give it to them! If the rest of the hating African artistes want the same recognition, they should get off their butts and put in the work. Hats off Yemi my girl !!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I wonder why this song didn't hit over 20Million...you ppl must be wicked!!!!!!!
As a Kenyan and Swahili speaker, I always wait for 2:00. This song is my anthem for Thanksgiving.

And the Pan African poetry on this song 🎶 is beautiful. The title Na Gode is in Hausa, and the music is in Swahili, Pidgin and Igbo. The languages on this song and on other collaborations with Sauti Sol and with Angélique Kidjo is just amazing. This is God working in you. 👏🏾👏🏾
A true African queen. We must come out of our enclaves and unlearn the arrogance of thinking that one set of people are more important that the others. We must embrace the culture and beauty of our beautiful family and appreciate them sufficiently. Such a blessing listening to Yemi sing in Swahili. Such a bliss

Much love Yemi for singing in my national language,
Yemi Alade is a full package, her sounds and lyrics are borderless. Yemi speaks and carries Africa shoulder-high, a precious gift to the world from the Motherland. Yemi can eat on the same table with the likes of M. Makeba, Angelique Kidjo, Onyeka Onwenu, Mbilia bel, Brenda Fassie, Y. Chaka Chaka, Thandiswa Mazwai etc. Welcome, Yemi!
